"Jeff Friebel was great to work with throughout the process from start, including the quoting for the work to be done, through the finish, including landscaping the garden area that was affected by the work. 
This was a sizable investment for us and as I was at work during the day and had to travel on a number of occasions for business, it was important for us to have someone who was trustworthy, transparent and an expert in building paver Patio's. Three words that I believe describe  Friebel's Quality Landscaping perfectly.
Jeff Friebel provided all of the above qualities and went above and beyond in working with us to provide what we wanted and needed, including providing all the necessary information and details for the HOA approval of our design to the masonry work needed for outlets that we had to move in one of our walls. The detail work to ensure that everything fit together perfectly and looked great was amazing and the end product shows it.
At the same time the patio was being built my parents were visiting from overseas and really wanted the see the final product. The work was done to schedule, with the team working on some nasty weather days to ensure that they met the deadlines and could make my parents happy.  This kind of thinking and attitude made working with Jeff and his team a real pleasure.
The overall quality of workmanship was excellent and included making a few changes on the fly to accommodate our "real time" thinking as the patio developed.  We couldn't be happier with our patio and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jeff and his team for building a new patio or replacing / upgrading an existing one.

"Again Chris and his crew showed up on time and got going early in the morning. The old patio was removed and they started on the 'like for like' patio replacement except it would be a minimum 3' away from our house. I had spray painted an approximate size we thought was equal to the one removed. I left my wife at the helm for this one as this project was one she dearly wanted done. Chris assured her she would love it when done. I was away most of the day and when I returned I saw a beautiful gently curved patio tying in our basement steps, new 3 step stoop, recent 3 step porch Chris did a month earlier and a wooden stairway from a deck. The patio was larger than we planned as Chris added his experience and knowledge to the job. This was a big plus. Also there was an issue with the first 2 (old) concrete steps going to the basement. Chris fixed this unseen issue without any talk of 'additional' cost. The concrete block in the outside stairway was stuccoed to match the concrete patio. Again we feel this was money well spent for an improvement in our home and our homes value."

"Extremely well. The wall looks great and we are very pleased with the final result. Our neighbors loved our new wall and commented on how well it was built. The patio bricks are all square and level. The contour looks great. They had to cut many of the patio bricks because the wall has several curves. They dug down and put a gravel foundation under the wall. For the spring clean-up they trenched around and weeded all of our mulch beds and trimmed all of our shrubbery. They then re-mulched all of our beds. They cleaned up all residue before they finished. We are very pleased with the overall look of our landscaping. I would highly recommend them. Their prices were very fair and their work was excellent and timely. They are coming back to trim a tree and then we will have them back next spring for clean-up."

"Mike and Trevin did an awesome job with our custom design process. We opted for the "Plus" Design Package and are having them install a paver patio in our backyard and tear out and replace existing old and neglected landscaping beds in front and along both sides of our house. Mike was quick, responsive, and knowledgeable in evaluating our spaces. It took just one fairly brief meeting at our house for him to learn what we were looking for, explain some options, and take photos/videos/measurements for the design process... all of which he did while accommodating our schedules and coming over after regular working hours. The design review process was super professional and state of the art. Trevin did a great job with the layout/initial design and had their proposed plan (with our actual yard and house visualized and laid out in 3D) ready to walk us through live on a video call. He was able to move/add/subtract furniture on the patio to show us what it would look like, adjust the size"

"This contractor came to the house to give me an estimate for the work.  The estimate was about $750 and included the tile and materials.   He was courteous and professional.  He gave me the name of someone at the tile shop who would work with me to pick out the tile I would buy.  I did so and ordered the tile which came in about 1 week later.  Justin and his helper came promptly to install the tile and did an excellent job.  The tile work came in about $100 less than the original estimate.  Since his company also does landscaping, I asked him to trim the bushes in my front yard which he did the next day for $60.  I would highly recommend this company for the quality of their work, their professionalism and responsiveness, and the prices they charge.  I definitely would use them again.

"Of several firms contacted for an estimate, owner Ron Diersing was the only one who gave me a firm estimate, as well as a detailed explanation of what he would do.  he gave me a courtesy call the night before the job and 30 minutes before arriving.  Despite 98 degree heat and a job site that required hauling in buckets of cement by hand, Ron and his brother finished in 1 day, with a few touch-ups the following morning.

I am over-the-moon happy with the porch pad replacement.  It looks great, drains water away from the house, and evens out what was a jarring step from the house and to the back steps.  And they did minimal damage to the surrounding garden.

I was slightly less happy with the low retaining wall across the front of the property, mostly because it was poured on top of  the sidewalk rather than the yard, as I'd requested.  And also because it did not have permanent drainage holes built in. (When he stopped by the following morning, Ron drilled several holes at the base of the wall for drainage.)  To be fair, we did not discuss the wall in as much detail, and I did not come out and check the forms as they were setting them up, which could have headed off the problem.

When Ron gave me the estimate, we discussed the broken curb and he eplained the difference between patching and replacing the curb, and I said I would probably have it patched at a later date.  Altho' it was not part of the original estimate, at the end of the day he patched the worst spots at no extra charge.

Overall, I was happy with the job, the price and the overall experience."
