"It was originally higher price. His guys made a mistake, and didn't cover a vent in the roof. A storm came and the water came into my house. There was very little damage. He took the cost of the roof.  It thought the discount greatly exceeded the cost of the damage. I thought the work, and his handling of the problem was extremely professional. We also had a small leak during a major storm, and he showed up immediately to fix it."

"While I was being stood up by two other supposed reliable roofing companies I called Phil. He answered the phone, made an appointment for the next day and came over promptly. He inspected the roof and his assessment which differed a bit from the other company seemed reliable and informed by experience. I received an estimate the next day and he gave me a time frame for when he could come over and do the work. His communication was great, he came as scheduled and did a great job completing the work. Unlike other companies who may try and get you to do more major roof repair or replacement in the short run, he took a more long term customer relationship (and referral) view and wasn't going to try and sell me something I didn't need.
