"I bought my house for its charm and some wonderful views, but it was built on a hill and was in desperate need of a retaining wall and some general cleanup. The incline was steep in places and would present some significant challenges, but after meeting with Rudy to discuss the scope of the job, I came away feeling excited about his ideas and confident they could be done at a reasonable price. The disruption from a construction project can be stressful, but Rudy always made sure I understood the status of the work and what to expect going forward. Once the project was complete, he also restored and cleaned up all of the affected areas. "The reason why we did not give 5 stars for this project: 1. The project materials deposited on our neighbors backyard. It took a long time to get someone from the company to come to move it to our lot. Still, he left some of it and we had to move it ourselves. 2. Despite our requests to start the noisy work at 8AM the work always started at 7:30AM. 3. The brick part of the porch was supposed to be pointed the project manager asked us to agree to remove the low brick wall and wanted to charge us $8K for it while pointing is more work intensive than removing the bricks. At the end he lowered the price but did not do the pointing on the remainder of the bricks that left in the supporting columns. We had to hire someone to do it and it cost us extra $950. 4. When the trash container removed from our backyard, we left with a lot of debris and again we needed to clean it ourselves."

"Very happy we hired Celtic Masonry! Jim called me within an hour of my quote request and we scheduled a time to meet within a few days. After initial visit, Jim came back a few times to discuss the project with me as we were trying to figure out what we wanted. Once we decided on a project/design, he sent me a formal quote (very reasonable and competitively priced - we had 2 other quotes to compare to) and we agreed to move forward. The work started as Jim promised and was completed on time. They demo'd our old beat up brick steps and rebuilt adding granite steps and bench. The work came out beautiful (and I’m picky!)!!
