Bob talked to us about what we wanted, shared some useful window wisdom, gave us a swift estimate, and invited us to hear him play guitar that night (we went). They came in at lower cost than anyone and the windows are awesome good looking and tight as a drum against the cold. The crew that did the installation, also awesome. "I found Jim Andrews on Angie's List. I emailed him and received an answer within one day. We set up the date of April 27, 2012 for Jim to come out and take a look at what I required done. He said it was a "doable" thing. He gave me an estimate of $150.00. I accepted, asked if he needed a deposit, which he declined. This gave me great confidence in him as most construction outfits will ask for a deposit and you never hear from them again. He arrived for this appointment exactly on schedule. The install date was May 7, 2012. He arrived on that date exactly on schedule. He surveyed what he had to do and began to work, measuring again and again. He would take a little here and a little there off the frame, wanting to make sure it was perfect. The air conditioner was put in and I could not have been more pleased. He made sure everything was good. He them cleaned up all of the shavings and made sure the porch was spic and span. He will be coming back to install two entry doors soon. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible.
