"Well, in the beginning I had a misunderstanding with RR Mann Fencing Company.  They sent me an email with their quote and work proposal and I agreed with it and sent it back to them by email.  I didn't hear anything and finally called to see when they would install the fence.  Apparently they never got my email so they sent me another one, and I approved of the quote and mailed it back to them.  By the time we got all of that settled, they were not going to be able to schedule me for at least 3 or so weeks, because of other jobs they had in front of me.  This was a bummer, and so they finally arrived somewhere between 2 and half to three weeks later.  The fence went up in two days.  First day they dig the holes, place the post in it and pour the concrete in the holes.  Second day they run the fence line.  The only complaint I have of my fence is, and it has to do with me not them, is that the black vinyl fence is flimsy and plastic like, it's cheap quality, even the poles.  It looks great but it's a cheap fence and I am sure it will not hold up for many years as I need it to.  I thought they made a black galvanized metal fence and this was not what I got.  Also at the bottom of the fence I feel it needs some kind of fence brackets or pegs so that critters can not squeeze under it.  I have groundhogs from next door that just slip right under my new fence with no problem at all.  Also this fence would not hold in a normal active dog.  My dog is old and she naturally stays within the fence line anyway, so that is not an issue.  From my experience with all of this, I would suggest that you do your research well and ask to see samples of the fence you are going to purchase.  The poles, fixtures and fence. Do not do the stupid thing like I did and just assume that the fence is going to be sturdy and strong and wait for them to get it all done before you check it out. RR Mann Fencing company did a good job and they cleaned up well after they were done, but I was surprised that they would carry such a cheap product, and it's my fault that I didn't check it out first thing. Do your homework first. <br />"

They use good materials and they use nice posts. They use first class type wire. He does a first class type of job at a fair price. It is not the lowest price but it is fair. I talked to him yesterday and I'm going to use him again shortly."

"In keeping with his excellent reputation, business owner Doug Gentry did what he said he would and did a great job of it.  I live cross country from my late father's Virginia farm on which the barn needing demolition was located.  I was seeking a contractor who was licensed, bonded and insured and found such a person in Doug through Angie's List.  Doug was great to work with as I collected bids, and then as we developed a contract.  He provided a certificate of insurance at my request.  He charged a reasonable price and stuck with that price.  Doug started work on schedule in during the winter of 2013 when unusually high amounts of snow and rain made work challenging.  He kept me informed of his progress and finished within the time frame established.  Doug went the extra mile by providing me a county building department inspections document showing that the barn had been demolished so I could get the county tax department to reduce the property taxes.  Most importantly, Doug took the barn down safely, hauled everything away and left the site clean.  My onsite representatives who reported to me on how the work was coming praised Doug for his thoroughness in cleaning the site.  Doug is a real professional and a pleasure to do business with.  I definitely will call on him again for work on this property. <br />"
