He answered all my questions and worked with me through the entire process (even when I had changes.) He was prompt and on-time every day and was even ahead of schedule with my specific time-frame for a big deck. He's a hard worker with attention to detail and exceeded my expectations. From my experience and interactions, he has a lot of integrity. David was accommodating through some of my changes mid-stream and was a pleasure to work with. "We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. If you need deck work, I recommend hiring Michael and his team."

"James and his crew are fantastic to work with! After interviewing and getting bids from at least ten other contractors, I hired KDOC Construction to replace our existing deck that was falling apart. It is a large deck (10 x39 ) that spans the entire rear of our house. It is accessible from upstairs and provides a huge entertainment area both upstairs and underneath, so the top needed to be resurfaced and waterproofed, as well. We were leaning towards simply repairing it, and the other guys that we met with would not even entertain that and just seemed to want to sell us decks that were super tricked-out and overly decorative - which is not our style. Most of those bids were extraordinarily high and had things we did not need or want. They wouldnâ t even discuss replacement. When James the owner of KDOC came out we talked about the pros and cons of both options and we decided to go ahead w the total replaced... a great choice! He and his crew came every day (a few days off for materials to cure in between) and worked like crazy until the end of the day - never left early - ever - and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. I was so impressed at the communication between James, his crew, and me. I always have a definite picture in my mind and was able to get just the look I wanted. Our new deck is beautiful! "If you want immaculate service and exceptional work done then hire Gabriel! He is so awesome! He truly cares about his work and you can tell. He makes sure it’s done exactly how you like it. I had some doors that I needed hung, but my house is crooked and he went above and beyond to make sure they were right. Then he stayed extra to put on the handles, which wasn’t even part of the agreement. Not only that, but he made two trips out to my house because he needed to go back for a different tool which was my fault, not his, without charging me more.
