"I scheduled an estimate to have a leak repaired and Luis showed up right on time. I was expecting to need a section of shingles removed and replaced, but as soon as he went up the ladder, he said "there's your leak" and showed me a nail and a warped section of roof. He fixed it right then and there and refused to charge me for the repair. I would definitely call M & J for any future roofing or gutter work."

"L & L Contracting came highly recommended for replacing my roof and gutters. They were prompt and courteous. They took on the headache of dealing with my insurance company and made sure that I got everything that needed to be done covered. I was it highly impressed that after inquiring about a quote, the owner came and not a salesman to explain my options. I would feel extremely confident to recommend L&LContracting,"

"Our project manager, Manny, and crew supervisor, Jorge, did a great job with our roof replacement today! Manny was very communicative and helpful throughout the repair. Jorge and the crew were efficient and did a very thorough clean up when finished. Our only concerns revolve around the initial reason we scheduled a repair, which was due to a ceiling leak after a rain storm. The sales person that came out was very nice and informative. He told us that while he could not determine the source of our leak, we needed a new roof. However, in our naivete, we forgot to wait on our insurance assessor before making any decisions. Post insurance assessment, we had a hard time getting answers from either the project manager or sales manager, and just moved forward with the replacement hoping it fixed our issue. Long story short, while the level of service and overall customer service were great, we had a major repair done that may not even be related to our issue. Our roof likely could have waited for a repair. Service=excellent! I would 100% recommend, just make sure you actually need a new roof."

"Working with Overstate was the right choice. I had 3 companies coming in and giving me quotes to replace the entire roof , including installing new plywood since it was a cedar shake . Yani walked me through the whole process, we improved the venting which was a good thing and I got a brand new Owens Corning shingle roof . I?ll definitely recommend to friends and neighbours ."

"The crew of 6 did a great job! Everyone worked as a team from the start of the job until they finished. The job was done in one day stripping two roofs, replacing some plywood and install new roof. The crew did a fine job with the clean up at the end of day."

"Great attention and timely communication. Crew was talented and tackled a very unique task of transforming a 100 year old garage that was half concrete and half wood into a classy addition to my property. Owner answered all questions and addressed any concerns immediately. I highly recommend this company. No job is too big or too small"

"My choices were a little limited due to COVID crisis, but contacted 2 highest rated companies on Angie's. First was a small firm who was booked thru the Fall. Alliance has several crews and were able to get to us quickly. First visit was great (David), who provided the quote, alternatives, samples, pictures & addresses of previous work. Price was reasonable. Crew started a couple of weeks later. Very professional and courteous crew of three. Once they show up, they stay to finish the job. Separate gutter crew came shortly after siding was done. Cost was $28,000 for a 2 story cape with shake siding. We love the shake look compared to traditional horizontal siding, esp for a cape house. We highly recommend Alliance."

"Colonial Restorations was superb.   Our family very much enjoyed working with Brad Green and Tom Green.

At the outset, they made thorough assessments of our family's barn, identifying several problem areas and offering multiple proposals for how best to address each (including strategies and estimates).  They walked through the different proposals with us, addressing all questions and discussing different options.  This was extremely constructive and important to the process.

They demonstrated very clear understanding of post-and-beam wood construction.  They displayed great expertise in working with wood (white oak, red oak, hemlock) and with the tools, jacks and cribbing needed for this work.  They worked carefully, always putting in place the necessary jacks and cribbing in advance of each phase of this project.

They were clear about their schedule and were very responsible about communicating with us.  If there were a day that they would not be on site, they let us know ahead of time.  With the exception of a snow storm and an illness, they were on site five days a week from the first week in January till the second week in February, 2016.

By the completion of this project, Colonial Restorations had made significant and important structural repairs to our barn.  This work was done with care, craft, accuracy, and to code.  (All elements of this project were examined and passed by the building inspector.)  Most important, these repairs respected and worked with the existing structure and materials of the barn.

We could not be happier with these repairs or with the work done by Colonial Restorations.  It was a pleasure working with Brad and Tom."
