"I called John last week in May and responded quickly and came out May 31 to give us not only a quote but assessed our watering needs.  Asked about how much I knew about lawn and drip irrigation and explained the benefits of drip for the garden and for conservation of water.  He tested the water pressure, and told us that there would have to be a couple of control boxes in the ground and some digging but the crew would do their best to replace the grass and mulch as best they could and I understood this as we had been through landscape work before.  I said no problem. <br /> I wanted coverage for my lawn and my plantings.  Especially with the dry we have had the last few years.  I struggle just to keep my plants looking great.  Much of the time I will let my grass go dormant.  John said after the installation of the system you will have great looking lawn in about a months time.  Probably have to mow it too often.  I did not think that would be possible.  I would be happy to get the lawn root system going again and my plants on a watering schedule. <br /> I waited a month due to a surgery but we decided we wanted to schedule it for sometime in July.  I called John after July 4 and asked if I could get in the schedule for July sometime.  He said that with all the rain in June, he would try to get us in late July, but we may get pushed out if we get rain.  His crew had been working 7 days a week just to catch up.  Just like he thought we did get pushed but one of the weeks I could not do it, but he and his crew does his best to work their best to work with your schedule. So, just remember if you want an irrigation system get your quotes and plan to schedule out several weeks, if it's in the heart of summer to be on the safe side.  I understood and my wife and I had help watering our plants when I wasn't doing well, so I was prepared. <br /> We had Innovative scheduled on August 12 at 7 am.  They are prompt.  I forgot to say that John has a plumber to install a  valve which is included in the quote, some of the other companies have you do that yourself.  And calls gopher one to mark your yard where all your utility lines are buried.  So, they have several trucks and crew members, which do an excellent job of communication.  Very careful of your plants.  Yes they do dig up your yard and bring a small yard ditch digger to trench in the irrigation, but it gets filled in nicely.   <br /> My tip is to buy a big bag of grass seed for your bare spots and if your garden is mulched, buy several extra bags of mulch on standby if you have drip line put into your garden. <br /> They installed : <br /> Controller:  Hunter Pro C <br /> Valves:  Hunter PGVs (2) <br /> Spray Heads:  Hunter MP Rotors (6) <br /> Gear Driven Heads:  Hunter PGP Ultras (18) <br /> Hunter Drip Irrigation <br /> Price Includes: Wilkens Back Flow Preventer installed by licensed plumber, automatic rain gauge.  We also bought extra the Hunter Roam Remote. <br /> Lawn Irrigation Zones: 5 <br /> Drip Irrigation Zones: 3 <br /> Joe was in charge of the crew and is great at explaining the operation of the PRO C.  Joe and his crew also adjusted all sprinkler heads and when I was not happy about coverage of one area, they came back and adjusted the one area later that week.  Excellent customer service. <br /> What sold me is the price, warranty( fall shut down and spring start up).  As long as you stay with Innovative for fall shut down and spring start up ($75 each), they warranty the Hunter product. <br />"

"This was a very positive experience and was more like an orchestration than an installation.  Warren was (and continues to be) very responsive since first contact.  He took time to explain the parts and procedures of the lawn irrigation installation, the start-up, winterizing, and provided additional information regarding some customized plumbing that we wanted done relating to a frost spigot for flooding an outdoor rink during the winter.  Warren and Outdoor and More LLC work with a specific plumber which catered to seamless communication from the installation to the backflow system and frost spigot to the actual installation of the lawn irrigation system.  Regarding follow-up, we had some tree roots push up a pipe slightly exposed.  When notified, Warren and his crew were out the SAME DAY to make the repair by removing the roots and pushing the pipe back down.  We just had our system shut down for the winter yesterday and experienced the same level of service.  During this service, Jason who is Warren's colleague and who services our property was polite, punctual, and provided a detailed explanation of the procedures that were taking place.   We look forward to seeing them in the Spring and appreciate the effort they have gone through thus far. <br />"
