"A+ review for William and the KeyPrime team! About a year ago, we purchased a historic house that was in need of several major repairs. The roof was over 20 years old and had not been done properly before, which had caused the wood soffits, eves, and fascias to rot. Squirrels and bats had started getting in through the rotted wood, and the gutters were falling off the house. We interviewed a lot of companies and received numerous bids. It was a complex project, and we wanted it done well + affordably (a difficult combination to achieve). We also needed all the work to conform to the historic register requirements and be approved by the historic preservation committee. When William came out and discussed the project, we were immediately impressed. He demonstrated a deep understanding of the intricacies that the project would involve, and was able to explain things to us simply and clearly. He was patient and took the time to answer all our questions, so that we understood all our options and felt comfortable with the proposal. He also helped us to make informed decisions about where to cut costs in order to keep the project within our budget, as well as where it was worth it to spend the money and not cut corners. The project itself went very smoothly. Everyone on the team was friendly, and they worked very efficiently. A few times when questions or concerns came up, I called William and they were addressed immediately. One of our big worries when we started the project was that a company was going to come in with a low bid and then raise the price with “surprises” once the project started. William was very up front with the pricing, and let us know what would happen if they uncovered anything unexpected after the roof was opened up. Thankfully, no surprises were found, and we were billed the exact amount that we were initially quoted! A few small unexpected things even came up during the project that they could have easily “nickel and dimed” us for, but they just took care of them without any additional charges. The new roof, soffits, eves, fascia, and gutters that KeyPrime installed look great, and we are extremely happy! They did a great job restoring the beauty to our historic house. Our experience with KeyPrime was exceptional from start to finish, and we look forward to working with them again on future projects."

"He was the only 1 of 2 companies then told us our roof was OK after the hailstorm a couple of years ago. Other companies wanted to scam insurance whether you needed a roof or not. I called him out because of this when we had damage from ice dams. He came out quickly and gave a good explanation of the damage and even repaired it the same day. Pricing was OK as well. I did not give 5 stars because I want to give time to see how the repair stands up with time."

"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"Professional. Honest. Experienced. Prompt. And reasonable pricing. These are words that pop to mind to describe my recent experience of having Harry repair and treat our cedar shake roof. His is a family business -- his son will be the third generation. I recommend Harry highly and would certainly hire him again. Edit: I have called on Harry for cedar shake roof repairs twice within the span of a few weeks, because after the first repair, we had a storm that caused additional damage. And the storm hit just before the closing of the sale of my house. Harry came out promptly and told me it is too bad all the damage did not happen at once so that he could have fixed it all in one go and save me money. His team proceeded to make the repairs, which took a few hours, and at end of the day handed me an invoice that was reasonable and did not take advantage of the time constraint I faced to get the roof repaired. He also provided documentation I needed to get reimbursed from my insurer. He and his team are simply professional. You will be in good hands if you entrust your roof with him."
