"Very quick response, on time, and hauled off several large heavy items that wasn't part of the quote and didn't charge me extra. Friendly, polite, professional."

"These guys were nothing short of amazing. My laundry room was just a shed. They completely transformed the entire room. I almost forgot it was my home when they were done! They are fast and very professional. Our shop was an old wooden shop that needed to be wrapped. These guys wrapped it within days. Even coming in on their day off to make sure the last few bells and whistles were complete. Weve gotten so many compliments on both jobs! Can someone say curb appeal ? very satisfied and highly recommended! I'll have them back for future jobs!"

"Bob, Mickey, and Brian worked on our job for approx. 5 days. They are very professional, courteous, and timely. They are hard workers who toiled in "hot, humid conditions" and provided a very professional looking job. My wife and I love the new look of our roof dormers. It was a pleasure dealing with Bob and his crew! Would highly recommend his services!"

"I live in Vancouver, BC and the company is based in Houston, TX so a degree of trust is necessary before any order is placed. In my case the awning was sent via truck freight and a large metal-clad crate arrived, seemingly intact. Not immediately apparent when the goods were received was the fact that a fork lift had penetrated the base of the crate and crushed the canopy beyond repair. When I attempted to claim damage insurance from the shipper they sent out a damage inspector and I thought everything was on-track. To my amazement, the freight company declined responsibility for the damage and refused to pay any part of the claim. At this point James Threadgill of Classic Copper Works stepped in to offer a full replacement of the damaged item at no cost to me. I have now received the replacement item (this time sent by FedEx rather than the dodgy truck freight firm) and it is perfect. Classic Copper Works certainly did not make a profit on this transaction but they earned my respect. Thanks."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Angola, LA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
