"First day two guys worked for 3 hours. Second day two guys worked for 5 hours. Third day two guys worked for maybe 5 hours give or take with a third guy running a truck for rocks 2-3 times. For this i paid $1500 in labor (if you are keeping track that means $125 an hour for labor). Ok. Knowing the planter needed to be cemented I thought this would be done the first day so the cement could set before the put rocks in. The planter was worked on on the last day. The work on it wasn't completed. But I didn't know this until they had put rocks and planted the plants in the old dirt. Not even any new soil and used my neighbors water to water plants. You would think they would have knocked on my door and ask me for the hose. I was told they couldn't put braces in because the bricks are too old and they were falling apart when they tried. Fair enough. They are old but they should have knocked on the door and told me this at the time I feel it was sneaky. Because they didn't even use cement to put the bricks back into place so after a day the planter fell back to where it was before they started work. No weed mat was placed in the planter like there should have been when I asked him about that on the phone after they left when I noticed no mat he told me that it wasn't possible because it's not wide enough. I'm raising the BS flag on that one. The old weed mat which was plastic wasn't removed in all areas. After the first day I went around and looked and ended up pulling old rubber edging out myself as they just out rocks over it. Come one people. That's ridiculous. I have one less plant in the planter than I was supposed to have and I don't even know what was actually used on my yard because I was not given an invoice. Only the estimate he gave me two weeks before work started. A sharp edge on the metal edging was left and I was told he was going to come back and out a piece over it so someone would not get hurt in it that never happened. I feel as does my Dad after he came and saw what ghey had done that I was way overcharged for the work they actually did. I dont even know if i have the right amount of rocks that i was charched for which came to about $800 just for thise because he was very surprised to see 6 tons on the estimate when I showed him."

"These guys made it really easy for me. I had a small hole in the stucco/masonry wall outside my Garage and through email and phone we were able to get a date scheduled. I purchased paint for them to use once the hole was patched and left it out on the day they said they would be there to do the work. They came out and did a great job on the repair as well as clean-up (it was around landscaping). They also washed off the paint brush I provided them. Very happy with this very small project/repair."

"Steven came over on a Saturday afternoon to provide an estimate on turf removal and landscaping of our front yard. He emailed a detailed quote the following morning which, thankfully, met our budget. California Palms Landscaping was one of six companies (I know it was a lot) that I asked to provide us with estimates for our yard. After each company arrived, I usually had a good idea whether I could work with them. And if it was a â maybeâ , I emailed a quick question to await a response. Stevenâ s quote was comparable to one other companyâ s quote; however, I appreciated that Steven was extremely easy to communicate with and he answered all my questions rather quickly via email or phone call. The other company was a little too pushy for business which made me a little uneasy. I had asked about several revisions to be made to our contract for which he was very understanding. Steven and his employees were professional and courteous onsite. They removed the lawn and vegetation; and replaced it with mulch and decomposed granite pathways delineated with benderboard. The intention was to create a blank slate so that I could later plant a garden composed of California native plants. I appreciate the hard work he and his employees put in the 3+ days of the project to create a beautiful front yard which we will enjoy in the coming seasons. Steven emailed the receipt the following day with, as promised, recommended locations to purchase plants and additional materials. I am so thankful that I found California Palms Landscaping for our front yard transformation."

"We have used Ideal in the past and will do so in the future.  We needed to have the roof cleaned .  We called Ideal in mid December to schedule an appointment to do the job.  There is heavy demand for  his services and the earliest we could schedule was Jan 9, 2015.  He arrived on time and worked the entire day cleaning the roof.  He pointed out a couple of places where the roof needed repair. Just for the record we took pictures of before and after which we are willing to share.  We would not consider having our pressure cleaning done by anyone else.
