"I had gotten several quotes for a new roof and Home Wise Pros was well in line with pricing. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Honest explanations on services to be performed, issues that might arise, and timeframe to complete the job. A print quote by email! (Some companies had me waiting a week with many excuses) On the day of my roof installation workers (including Jay, the owner) were at my house ON TIME (7am!)! We all scooted out so they could get to work. Throughout the day Jay was sending me images of any rotten wood that was discovered or any issues that arouse. The day was long and all rotten wood was replaced, all issues resolved, they worked late to get the roof done! It was beautiful!! Two days later (due to threats of rain) they were back! On a Saturday! to do the gutters! For the 17 years that I have lived here I have had a waterfall over my front door anytime we got heavy rain …. My new big gutters have solved that problem! (Please note I had gutters installed about 10 yrs ago, and the issue remained and I was told there was no remedy for the gushing gutter over my front door!) "This team is amazing! It all began when we had those heavy rains at the end of July. Something told me to go into my attic and check things out. Sure enough, I discovered two leaks at the crown of the roof, and it was then I decided to make the call over to Fichtner, because I already knew these folks were amazing based on all of the positive reviews (and the work they had done on the house prior to me moving in). As the day of heavy rain went on, my leaks got worse. I took some photos and sent it over to one of the members (this was midnight), and they came back at 6:30 the next morning to make a temp repair...which had held up well (even considering that the storms just kept coming for a while). "Of the three estimates I received, Glen Burnie Roofing was the best. Word of mouth in my area, coupled with the ratings I found on Angieslist sold me. I had heard that they can be hard to book since the are so in demand. I waited about 3 weeks for the job to get done, which was a little less than the time they told me before I signed the contract. The team was very professional and worked extremely hard to finish my rather large, multi-leveled roof in a day. They installed a "chimney" to replace the ungly old metal one. It has a brick facade and greatly exceeded my expectations. On other thing stood out. I had a loose piece of siding that was starting to flap in the wind and, without saying a word before or afterwards, Mike fixed it for me. "After Hurricane Irene we discovered water in our attic and I thought we would be in need of serious roof repair or replacement.  We called Tomas Bros. based on a recommendation from a coworker.  Two very nice, very professional men came out and replaced the vent along the attic with something called a cobra vent, which they explained would not allow wind to push rain into the attic.  I was thrilled that we were not going to have to buy a new roof or do major repairs on this one.  The men were polite and courteous and punctual and I felt like we were treated well during what must have been a busy time for them after the hurricane (lots of folks nearby had damage to their homes).  We will definitely give them a call again if we need roof work in the future. <br />"
