"There were a of communication (or lack of on the part of the company) and scheduling issues. When the workers arrived they finished the project, but told me they didn’t have a truck to haul away the rubble. I was too tired to argue, so it was left for me to shovel and rake. Later, I noticed that the workers cut expansion joints but did not cut up to the house because they didn’t have the correct tool, so they just left it. I had to call for them to come back and finish it. They also chipped part of the concrete. When I pointed it out, I was told to just fill it with sealant, and it would be alright. The concrete slab is good, but I wouldn’t really recommend them. Too much hassle."

Very detailed oriented and pricing was fair. The quality of the work was great! Very happy with how our concrete pad came out and will definitely be using them for future endeavors."

"It took a long time till they could do the work because we had a wet summer and the company was covered up with work, but Theresa and Byron (the owners) kept me informed and let me know when they would be able to come to do my house. The crew brought heavy equipment and completed 6 downspout drainage pipes to get the water further away from my house and one condensation line from a heat pump AC unit that was pouring water out next to my house every summer. The job was completed in a morning."

"I had MadeWell Concrete replace my 475 foot concrete driveway in May of this year, 2019. I delayed rating their work because concrete can look good but only time is the best measure of a quality installation. They did a great job of removing the old (39 year old) concrete driveway and preparing the driveway bed for the pouring of the new driveway. They poured the new driveway according to their stated schedule and was finished and gone within 3 days. The new concrete driveway has performed splendidly with no evidence of cracking. One concern that I asked them to address with replacing the old driveway was the slope of the driveway at the entry point at the street. I had experienced my car scraping on the bottom frame due to the rounding of the driveway slope. They changed the slope and resolved the problem and I ve had no recurrence of that since. Alex, MadeWell s sales rep, did a great job of presenting their plan of replacement and his promises and assurances were kept. I would use them again without hesitancy."

"I can't remember the last time I wrote a review for a home contractor--maybe never. But It is an honor to write this review for Jeremy and his crew at Vango Concrete Contractors. First Jeremy is a very caring, first-class businessman who spends time explaining the project and personally supervises every stage of work perfomed by his highly skilled and experienced crew. Vango's work bid price was much lower than his competitors. Made me wonder how much more the other companies were going to make on the same project. But the quality of the work and the concrete choices were nothing but top-shelf. Vango's crew was amazing, working the big pour day well into the night without bickering or even raising their voices. I was stunned to see their dedication to our driveway as if it were their own. Most importantly, when we discovered the the "fall" (slope) of the concrete allowed some water to leak into the garage during a heavy rainstorm, Jeremy and the gang filled up their trucks with equipment, cut a hole in the concrete and built a custom rise in the perfect spot in order to shed all water away from the garage. This is AFTER we paid them. Vango Contractors is one of the finest contractors we have ever had the opportunity to work with over many years of hiring people to do work on our property.
