"In May 2018, we contacted James about the job and setup an appointment for an estimate. James came at the appointed time. Because of the nature of the space to be enclosed we spent considerable time discussing and reviewing options for routing of the fence and fencing options. We setup a date in mid-July 2018 to install the fence - to allow time for materials to come in and to accommodate our June/July vacation plans. On the appointed date, James and his crew arrived to install the fence. They part of one day removing our old fence and setting posts for the new fence. They returned a day later to install the chain link. All went well. The crew did a professional job. The work area was nice and clean at the end of the project. Overall great experience."

"My wife and I hired Jesse Summerlin for two related projects â a rebuild/upgrade of an existing deck along with a dedicated platform added for a hot tub. This was a challenging project since the deck is 10 feet off the ground and the platform, being downhill from the deck, ended up being over 20 feet high. The latter was designed by an engineer who provided sealed drawings. Jesse and his team built the platform exactly to spec. Jesse also worked closely with the hot tub installers and electricians to make sure everything was in synch. The deck rebuild had some unforeseen challenges due to past shoddy construction. Jesse found critical defects that others, including two inspectors, had missed. He was able to make repairs to the deck framing that left it rock solid. We replaced the old wooden decking with Timbertech Azek â a composite product I highly recommend. This was the first time Jesse had worked with that so he made sure to contact the manufacturer to ensure he was well educated on the installation requirements. His team had it in without a hitch. Throughout the project, Jesse was professional, communicative, and a joy to work with. We're exceedingly happy with the finished deck and hot tub platform. If we ever have an earthquake or mudslide on our mountain we're evacuating to the deck. The house may collapse down the hill but Jesse's deck isn't going anywhere."

Set all the post in one day, let the concrete set for a day, and then finished the next. We had a lot of line clearing to do to get the fence in, Moises even had all of those scraps cleaned up. "My statement to Gary before he left today was something along the lines of, "I wish we used him instead of the other handymen over the last seven years." My goodness, Gary is the absolute best. We've been ripped off by other fellows who called themselves handymen but created disasters for us (one guy was so inept, my spouse and I had to make frequent runs to Lowes for parts he neglected to bring, another made a complete mess of rehanging closet shelves - leaving me to spackle and paint his mess). Gary's officially on call and said he was okay with it. He's innovative. The quirkiness of our house didn't phase him; it phased me! I couldn't figure out how the heck to do some of the work (so, I really needed Gary). I got most of the parts and have more of my own follow-up work to do. It's great this way.
