"I obtained several estimates to have my side yards and back yard landscaped. This included a couple of irrigation lines, lots of pavers, and a bench constructed of stacked stone sides and a flagstone cap. Hawkeye Landscaping’s estimate was comparable to most of the others, but our interactions with the office staff and with Kelly distinguished them from their competitors. The office staff was professional and friendly, and Kelly was personable, knowledgeable, and seemed honest and sincere. Since we were having the landscaping work performed while we were out of town, these characteristics were crucial. The crews were punctual, proficient, and meticulous. Although I was not present at the job site, I was kept informed of their progress. The work was completed on time, and the final result exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail and pride in theircraft is evident. Most importantly, Hawkeye stands behind their work. We had a minor leak that was caused by a small pebble that had found its way into one of the sprinkler valves which resulted in the valve staying open. This was discovered late on a Friday afternoon, but there was a crew at my property promptly to repair it. I cannot say enough good things about Hawkeye Landscaping, and I would recommend them to anybody. They will also be my first – and only - choice for any additional landscaping work I need in the future."

"Cutting Edge has come to my house twice, once to curb the front yard and recently to add curning to my back yard.  My curbing looks awesome!  I prepped my back yard with lines and little trenches and I thought it was perfect - then these guys stepped in and I can't believe how flawed my original lines were!  Their lines were *perfect* and they integrated all the boulders (front and back) into the curbing so seamlessly.  They're like artists.  I can't say enough good things...."

"They showed up bright and early and started moving the rock from out front to the back yard in wheel barrows. When everything was moved to the back, they started spreading everything out. <br /> <br /> Very professional. Got the job done in a timely manner (i.e. didn't doddle and take all day), honored the estimate, and cleaned up the rock dust off the sidewalk (keeping the HOA happy). <br /> <br /> I would use them again, without question."

"Overall the work went OK. There have been nagging problems, however, that have not been resolved to my satisfaction. The fountain they recommended and installed was too big for the space they put it in, and it splashes the windows nearby. They won't admit any fault even though it was their recommended product. The dry well was not filled properly and when it rains, or I backwash my spa, I get sink holes (under my putting green). They keep saying that the pool company, which dug the hole, is responsible for the defect. They installed lights in my waterfall which leaked and became inoperative within a couple of months. They have been out numerous times to resolve a number of other issues, but have not effectively completed the job in my opinion."
