"I went in to the showroom and spoke with Kevin about what I was looking for. He very thoroughly explained the various options in shower doors that they could provide. Based on my rough measurements, Kevin quoted me a price range ($100 between low and high end). I scheduled a field measurement, which occured several days later. Doug was right on time and we talked about how
high up the shower door enclosure should go. We decided it should be 6 inches higher than originally estimated due to the height of the shower head. The final price came right in the middle of the original estimate, even with the additional height.  (I used an Angie's List discount which they were running.) The opening is wide (50 inches), so we went with a 26 inch shower door and a 24 inch solid stationary glass structure. 
The install was scheduled for two weeks out (could have been a day earlier but that didn't work with my schedule). The installers showed up right on time and did a great job installing it! No problems at all; the whole experience went very smoothly.
I had gotten one other quote, which was basically in the same ballpark, but that company was not able to provide the door as quickly.

"Hal and I have been working together on several interior and exterior projects over the past three or four years.  The most recent project was the completion of the backyard fencing, including a gate.  As always, Hal expertly managed the project.  The quality of his work is always high.  The fence is gorgeous with Hal's sense of artistry clearly evident.  I find that Hal is extraordinarily conscientious and a very effective communicator.  He and his team are reliable, and Hal actively supervises the team to ensure that the work meets his high standards.  Hal and his team's work is completed quickly and timely, and the work site is always neat and clean.  Hal and his team are very careful to respect my neighbors' property during the tear down and construction phases and to keep my dogs' needs in mind (they always installed temporary fences over night so that the dogs could run during the evening).  It is hard for me to find words to describe the skill and artistry that Hal brings to fencing project.  I recommend referring to his website at www.gardenstructuresandmore.com.
I highly recommend Hal and Garden Structures and More for backyard fencing projects.  Hal listens to me and designs structures that match my tastes.  He provides me with guidance and suggestions that are truly helpful.  I don't spend any time managing Hal's projects or checking his work as I know that Hal has such high standards for his work.  Hal is very good at communicating with me.  I always know the status of a project because Hal has always contacted me before I can even thing about calling him.  In the end, Hal makes it really easy for me to get projects completed, which is something that I value in a contractor.  As an aside, Hal's skills and reliability extend to interior projects.  Hal has built two stair cases, refinished bathroom walls and ceiling, and completed other projects for me.  Hal is very knowledgeable, reliable, and skilled about interior projects.  Again, I highly recommend Hal and Garden Structures and More.

"I came to know about Cady Handyman Services through Angie's List. We called Cady Handyman Services and they came within a day or two. It wasn't a super emergency as we had been able to keep the door shut, but it was of a major concern to us. The door protector piece underneath the door frame had come down and it was stuck to the floor. It was quite a big process to get the door shut. Once we got the door shut, we were scared to reopen the door as we might not be able to get it shut once again. My husband had to really struggle a lot to get that door shut. The handyman was calm. He was very good and very experienced. He went out of his way to help us out with the ceiling in another area in the door frame. It was just a small thing, but he was inexpensive and he really did help insulate better and that was beyond what we called him for. We would definitely use his service in the future too for any other home repair issues. They were very respectful, very kindly, and experienced. I have a 3-year-old son and he was very friendly to my son. One of the reasons that I wanted to refer was that my son still remembered him. My son has a very good memory of the guy who came and fixed our door."
