"We hired Kris to caulk around the foundation of our house where, due to settling, the patio and front porch were pulling away from the house.  Kris did a wonderful job replacing old, weathered caulk where he could, but was challenged by areas where the separation was too wide and too deep to caulk.  Kris came up with several creative alternatives to caulking those areas and asked for our input as to which we might prefer.  I liked all of his suggestions!  He worked with us to decide on filling one particularly deep area with pebble rock which not only solved the problem, but played off the landscaping and looked terrific.  In another area he secured a wooden base under a patio door which not only fixed the settling issue, but made the door look more "finished".  We are very happy with the results! <br />"

"D's Doors was amazing!!!  I've only been a homeowner for a year (and am clearly ignorant, not even knowing the proper names of most garage/house parts), so when calling a repair person, I am usually nervous that someone will see a chance to overcharge me.  But these guys were able to accurately estimate the cost of repair over the phone from my description of the problem.  They also text (which I appreciate, as I am usually unable to take personal calls at work), so it was easy for me to set up the date for them to come fix the garage door.  They arrived promptly, fixed the door (it still works great :), and only charged what they'd estimated over the phone.  They even went WAY above and beyond, and included in the price putting back up a piece of roof fascia on my two-story house that had blown off in a weekend storm!  I would definitely hire them again. "Bryan is very personable, knowledgeable, and does quality work. He was easy to work with and added other ideas to ours. We wanted our garage sheetrocked and insulated. We hired Pursuit Drywall to do the sheetrocking, and that company got us in touch with Bryan Backstrom, of Backstrom Remodeling, because the garage was not sheetrock ready. From then on, we mostly worked with Bryan. He orchestrated the remodeling. He subcontracted out the electrical work, and we were very pleased with him and his work too. (He stumbled upon work done by a previous electrical company we have hired, that was not up to par, and fixed it.) Bryan had some tedious work to do with the ceiling framing. Not only did he have to add more framing, but he had to add long strips of framing wedges to existing framing to make them all level for sheetrocking. Since we were so pleased with Bryan on the garage project, we hired him to repair our deck railing installation that was not done properly by a previous company we hired. He did it right. At this moment we are hiring him to install 2 new windows in the garage, and may have him install new windows in our 3-season porch. We would highly recommend Backstrom Remodeling. He did a great job on everything and is such a nice guy."

"The vehical was picked and delivered within the a scheduled time, and the delivery driver was very professional. He even provided disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, shifter, doors and center console. If I need another car transported I would definitely hire UFA again."

"Dan quickly diagnosed the primary problem, which was a relay which was stuck. Once he fixed that, the machine reset and was ready to play. Dan then proceeded to go through the entire machine to make sure it was working properly. He replaced some burned out bulbs, changed several of the O-rings which were worn, discovered that someone had used an incorrect spring on one of the bumpers, replaced it with the correct sping, and cleaned the corrosion which had built up over the years on some of the electrical contacts. Dan did not mind my and quot;standing over his shoulder,and quot; asking him questions as he worked on my machine. It was obvious that he knew a lot about pinball machines. He also offered me some general maintenance tips on how to take care of the machine so that I only need to call him when the machine needs repair. In total, Dan spent two hours getting my machine back into tip-top shape. He was a pleasant individual who had great people skills! The quality of his work was excellent and the cost was very fair. Having him work on my machine was a very positive experience! If my pinball machine needs repair in the future, Dan is definitely the man I'm going to call. <br />"
