"The yard prep the day before and the sod install the day of took several hours each since there were so many roots in the area that we needed taken care of. They were very detailed in telling us how to take care of the zoysia and make sure it blends into our current lawn properly. This included watering instructions, laying sand as well as mowing/handling instructions. So far-it looks great. <br />"

"Chris Storey and his crew did a wonderful job. Chris kept me informed, via daily email, of progress and what would happen next. The driveway looks so nice that people in the neighborhood drop by to ask who did the work and we gladly refer them to Storey Concrete. Would definitely hire again."

"I purchased an Angies List deal for 45.00 for a one time mowing/edging/blowing.  They did a good job. Chris Cordan called me immediately and was able to do the job the following day.  He called back to follow up and to let me know that they did finish the job and gave me feedback and recommendation regarding the lawn. I can't rate this company based on design or how great they did the mowing since it was a basic job. But I will use them again for a regular service. I highly recommend this company based on responsiveness, price and professionalism."

"<p>Our front yard, which faces north and is shaded by big trees and our three story house, was a poor spot for grass to grow.  We interviewed three landscape companies looking for solutions.  Germantown Landscape's owner, John Nespoli, who is a landscape architect, had the best ideas and spent time with us detailing the plans and describing how it would look.  It was a total redo in the difficult front yard.  They just finished and it looks fantastic!</p> <br />"

"I am extremely happy with the end result! had several quotes, Jack and Thomas came out, gave me a very competitive quote, explained the process, and promised a start date. Started on time, and by the way, within a week of the agreement. The crew were one of the most careful, polite and efficient i have seen with contractors. i have 10 zones with a 3/4 acre lot. Job was completed in 2.5 days (weather cooperated). they also are not afraid of technology. they installed a Rachio controller, web/app based with smart water tech. you can use other controllers but i opted for the one that would be most convenient for me. You cant do better than this team."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Arlington, TN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
