"Hired to complete a small wood fence and longer chain link in black finish. Wood fence was done very well, close to the ground to prevent my small dog from escaping. Looks great. Chain link also done very well. Had them back out to install a larger gate but wanted the small gate to use in another location but they said they used the materials to install the larger gate - not sure about this as I wasn't home and a bit disappointed that I paid for the same materials twice. "I believe North Star Roofing and Construction changed ownership sometime in the last few years or there are two companies with the same name, or something else is going on. I Googled Russ Oja who I always dealt with and found him on Linked In as the former owner. I looked on the Land I site

and found that Russ' license lapsed on 6/10/2012. So the North Star Roofing and Construction company that I dealt with is no more. Furthermore I see no North Star Roofing in Seattle listed on the Land I site.
I am writing this because Angie's List asked for a review. I'm not sure what I clicked or wrote that made them aware of my prior use of North Star. The North Star I used was addressed on Mukilteo Speedway in Lynwood. The North Star that Angie's List has prompted me to review is at 815 1st Ave in Seattle.

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"
