"J and C Company LLC was awesome! I have been wanting to have a wall removed that separates my kitchen and living room in my split flyer home for a long time. The wall had power through it, an air return, and most of my kitchen cabinets, along with the oven and refrigerator. With little success in getting things going with other companies I decided to take a chance when I saw J and C Company LLCs work van at a traffic light on my way home. The light seemed extra long because i was able to read everything and even draft an email to them while at the same light. Julio contacted me in response to my email within 5 minutes of me sending it and asked where i was located and said he could be to my house in 15 minutes! I was shocked lol and of course my kids had activities to be to so i scheduled to meet the next day for a quote. Julio was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything that would need to be done (power needing to be moved, repairs to wall, ceiling, and floor would be needed, etc.). He also asked me questions I had not thought of since i just knew i wanted the wall gone. He did not rush through the conversations and did not just throw numbers at me or try to sell me anything I did not want. He was a great listener and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. i received his quote the next day as promised for the work i requested (very reasonably priced!). He was able to immediately fit me into his schedule when I said i wanted it done asap and said it would take 3 days. I picked the Tuesday he had available the next week. He said he would arrive between 7 and 8am but I asked him to arrive at 8 to allow my kids to leave for school, which he did. He arrived promptly at 8 each day (3 consecutive days). They covered everything and cleaned up each day before they left. They separated the living room from the wall to be removed with plastic that had a zipper to enter and exit. They also covered the stairs and floor leading to my front door. He also made sure my kids could still access the living room which I greatly appreciated. We were still able to live and go on our daily routines while they worked (i stayed home during the work in case they needed me but i stayed out of the way to not hover or be nosey lol). The times i asked additional questions about potentially moving something else in the kitchen i was not met with frustration or anything. Again, he heard me out, did not label anything with price tags and he kindly provided me with stuff to consider when doing certain things I was asking such as my oven was on the wall removed so i wanted to move it to where my dishwasher is. They removed the wall, fixed an air return vent that was once in the wall, moved electrical including power for the oven, repaired walls, floors and ceilings, applied primer (we opted to wait on paint due to possible color change even though he offered to match the paint for us). They also were very careful with cabinets that were removed from the wall since we are not buying new ones right away and just set them aside for us. Julio had two gentlemen working with him over the 3 days and they worked from when they arrived to when they left around 3/4pm each day and taking a lunch break each day (my kids came home around 3). Each day he would explain how he left things or what to watch out for and to be careful for my kids if we went into the now zipped kitchen. i have felt at ease during this whole process and did not feel like I was going to surprise with something at any point. I will definitely be using his company for more business! So glad i took the chance at that traffic light! Highly recommend J and C Company LLC. (fyi - they have some videos and images of their work on Facebook as well when i was looking to see the type of work they did)."

"Fantastic! Met with Mike for estimate and to discuss the best coating to put on the utility room floor in our new addition. He explained everything in detail as well as the advantages (and disadvantages) of using an epoxy coating over other coatings for a floor this size (we had also considered leaving the floor as is or using cement paint to coat the floor). Scheduling was a breeze and was able to work within our timeline. We were contacted the night before installation to give us an ETA and they also called when they were on their way. The team (Paul and Devin) were courteous and friendly, they explained the process and told us what to expect on the first day (prep and initial application of the epoxy basecoat and chips). Even though the grinder was noisy (expected) it was tolerable. They let us know when they were done, showed us what was completed (beautiful), and cleaned up their work area before leaving. On day two, a crew of four (added Neil and Dylan) arrived to apply the sealant and anti-skid coatings. Again, all gentlemen were friendly, courteous, and professional. Once they finished up Zach (crew supervisor) arrived to review the completed work. Paul left us with instructions and when we could access the area. It was a pleasure working with them, great crew. We waited an extra day to make sure the area was fully dry before we walked on it. There was just a mild (not offensive) odor from the application (which aired out after opening the windows). We were amazed in the difference of the floor. All the blemishes and irregularities were replaced with a floor that was uniform and pristine. The area was brighter, easy to walk on. We chose the coating that had the lifetime warranty. Would definitely recommend Stronghold Floors."

"I had my garage floor epoxy coated and overall the service went well. They gave me a quote based on my description and stuck to it. The process took 3 days due to weather. The crew was stuck in VA on another job due to snow so they got to my house late. Once the surface was ground down and paint applied, they left for the day to allow it to cure. They came the following morning and it was not cured enough to continue, so they returned the following day. After they applied the clear coat and flakes, they were done. The paint smell was very, very strong for a few days and it permeated throughout the house. The job was excellent, though. So far it has withstood everything and still looks great."

"We are very happy with the Rios Remodeling's work on our bathroom. We did a complete remodel, tearing out the shower, floors, and all fixtures. They completed the work in about 10 days. Everyone was professional and when we pointed out something we felt wasn't right, Ricky and Renee fixed it without argument or tacking on a lot of surprise fees. We supplied all of the tile, paint, and fixtures while Rios supplied the construction materials and labor. Of the 3 quotes we got, they were certainly the most affordable. "This company was wonderful to work with right from the beginning (initially contacted through Angie's list on 8/15/14, estimate performed on 9/03/14, and work completed on 9/10/14).   There were a few hiccups in initial scheduling, but part of that was our fault (we weren't paying attention to the voicemail message providing us with a different phone number to call because they were having phone issues in the office).  Every single person we dealt with was extremely friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.  They made us feel at ease about the work we were getting done.  <br /> Horizon's quality of work is excellent!  I realize that only time will tell, but so far we've had a couple of very heavy rains since the work was performed an no leaking has occurred.   The aluminum coating they put on the roof looks fantastic - and there are no paint splatters anywhere on the house from the coating.   The guys did a marvelous job of cleaning up after themselves too - we couldn't even tell they were here.  Most contractors I've dealt with, including other roofers, leave behind a giant mess to clean up - and worse, they leave nails behind for people to step on or drive over with their tires (why do contractors do that?)...   anyway, you don't have to worry about any of that with Horizon.  <br /> We are relieved to have a roofing company that is so experienced with flat roofs in Baltimore City.  Horizon Roofing, Inc. will be our permanent go-to company if/when we have any roofing issues in the future.   It is so wonderfully refreshing to receive such top notch, quality service that you can trust!  <br /> <br />"
