"We love our cabinets! They look fantastic while remaining affordable. The friendly staff at AWD helped us from start to finish. They are very knowledgeable and gave us advice and tips when needed. They were receptive and patient with our ever-changing needs. Once we finalized our purchase, we received our cabinets within two weeks! The cabinets are very sturdy and the color is beautiful. "Contractor keep appointment (even though there were 2 or 3 calls expressing confusion about time and day); installed the drywall and cleaned the area.   The drywall installation was not smooth and when textured looked amateurish at best.  Before I could paint I had to sand several areas and apply canned texture-not the most professional look but time was a factor.  the next time the wall is painted will require extensive prep work to make it look professional.
Good things: appointment keep; work was done as explained; no extra charges.
Not so good: Technician was not a drywall guy.

"The contractor put together a ceiling fan and installed it.  He was unable to complete the other jobs, which I did myself.  I had to take the initiative to get ahold of him, and he also got lost coming to my place, so it was late by the time he got here.  The first time, I was missing a part.  So, I went to the store and got the part.  The next day, the contractor didn't show up, so i contacted him again, and he came and installed the fan.
Honestly, the store where I bought the fan would have installed it for less money than I paid this contractor.  I thought that he would be able to do more than that, but it didn't work out.  That's why I say it was not a good price for me.
He is a nice, friendly and trustworthy person and he did a good job on the installation.  The sink handle he was not able to fix, but he told me what to do, and I did it myself.  The other job is still not done, as I'm waiting for the right part.
