"LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"

"The owner Dennis returned my request for quote submitted via Angie's list in less than 24 hours. The next day he arrived promptly at our agreed upon time. The estimate was a very good value being winter here in New England. I accepted the offer. I was given two possible dates for the work to be done. He and his crew arrived the very next since there was a snow storm in the forecast. I watched as they repaired the damaged plywood and put on the new roof. They worked carefully and did a great job in my opinion."

Him and his crew came to my house on Tuesday at 7:05 AM and didn't stop working until 4:30 PM. Wednesday it was rainy and windy. NO WATER LEAKING in my living room. "As a person who knew nothing about siding or roofing and has never had to find a contractor for a project of this scale, I was very anxious about the task ahead of me. I had to ask many questions as I proceeded through the process (identifying contractors to come to the cottage, interviewing the finalists, etc.). I greatly appreciated that Victor was always patient and explained things so a layperson like me could understand them. He was invaluable in helping me select the right siding and roofing materials for a Gloucester cottage that receives a lot of wear and tear from the often-harsh sea air. Also, as an experienced builder, his perspective and advice was greatly appreciated. Once his business had been selected, he outlined the timeframe and sequencing of the work and about the different crews that would be doing the work. He advised me as to how to prepare the cottage (remove items from shelves and the walls as well as cover the furniture) before the work began. As I did not stay at the cottage while the work was being done (and as I live over 2 hours away from the cottage), Victor was conscientious in keeping me informed by texts, phone calls, and photos. There were challenges to overcome, mostly rotted wood (no real surprise), and Victor contacted me immediately, and we talked about his proposed solutions. I was able to see during a couple of my visits to the site (and via the photos) that the crews worked diligently and efficiently to keep the project moving. Victor’s crew had started the project with materials on site, so the transitions from the demolition, to the roof, to the trim and windows, then to the siding were seamless. The only delays, which were not many, were due to weather conditions. Toward the end of the project, there was a storm that caused a power outage but, undeterred, Victor brought a generator to the site so that the project could be completed within the original projected timeframe. I was greatly pleased at the way Victor responded to a few items that had received some damage during the project—a window had to be re-glazed and the screen replaced and a screen door had to be re-hung. He addressed all my concerns quickly and efficiently. I would definitely contact Victor and the On Time General Services team in the future for projects for the cottage that I know are looming in the not-too-distant future."

"After the work was completed, I began experiencing significant ice dam, and leaking not previously experienced. The company returned to my house two additional times to examine the situation and claim no responsibility. Over one month ago, the owner came out personally to examine the premises, and I appreciated his invovement. He pointed out several things that were wrong with my roofing system including soffet venting, and cheek wall flashing. He denied any responsibility on the leaking sky lights which I was told at sale he guaranteed! He further pointed out a failing gutter system as my problem, I asked why he never properly recommended soffet venting and flashing at the time of installation. He had no credible response and said he would get back to me. I never heard back. Since that time, I have had a town building inspector, licensed home inspector, several contractors and the shingle manufacturer out to my home. They have all unanimously concurred that Superior Roofing improperly installed my sun roof flashing, cheek wall flashing and water and ice shield. The shingle manufacturer has advised that Superior Roofing failed to properly install a roof venting system which can in affect void the expensive warranty I purcahsed. The owner of Superior correctly identified that my gutters were problematic, but all agree that my current leaking issues are not due the gutter system. While the company appears to be professional, I think I got a bad crew and the owner of the company is to busy making excuses to do the right thing. This is sad, as I had been willing to give them the opportunity to correct the problems."
