"<p>We selected Holton Bros. because they had a great reputation for the work they do.  They were definitely not the cheapest but they are the company we had the most trust in doing the job right.  We wanted to trust the contractor would do the job right and we did not want to ever have to deal with this issue again so we were willing to pay more for Holton Bros. craftsmanship.  Matt provided us with an estimate and explained everything they would do and that there were some unknowns that would need to be tackled after demolition of the old porch.  <br /> <br /> </p> <p>The guys showed up and really got after it.  They removed the old sinking cement and removed the old brick façade. Reinforced the porch area with rebar so it would not sink in the future and poured the new porch.  They put up a gorgeous new brick that all the neighbors have commented on and then poured a new cement walkway to replace an old sinking brick walk.</p> <p>The Holton Bros. crew (headed by Darwin) was very professional and really did exquisite work.  The actual invoice came in right around the estimate Matt put together despite the fact we picked out a much more expensive brick than we were replacing.  Holton Bros. did not require any money down upfront.  They sent us an invoice after all work was completed.</p> <p>We would definitely recommend Holton Bros. to neighbors, friends and family.  They do great work at a very fair price and we trusted them throughout the entire process (which is priceless) to correct the shoddy work done by the original builder.</p> <p>Big thanks to Matt L., Darwin and all the other Holton Bros. crew members that pitched in to repair our home!<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"One day due to rain, to prevent the sealer from washing off. Great Job filling the cracks with tar, wire brushing & flaming the driveway edges, and applying the sealant (with Si sand) by brush."

"This is the most ethical contractor I have worked with.  Although he was originally engaged to repair water leakage in basement block walls, he determined that the source of the water was above ground.  He made many visits to my property and worked with the condo association to inform them of the necessary repairs required.  It was with water testing of the structure in one corner that it was determined the water entered along the front door roof line.  <br /> With his expertise he saved us a considerable cost that would have proven to be unnecessary.  He could just as easily excavated and resealed the basement walls.  The building would have continued to leak.  At the end of the day, he was only paid for water testing the building which found the leak at considerably less cost.  <br /> He was considerate and extremely knowledgeable.    Needless to say, he was honest.  Not always that easy to find.  I would recommend him to any consumer.  He is a credit to his trade. <br /> His employees were here on two different days to water test the building at the roof line and at the brick line.  They were friendly and courteous and certainly knew what to look for both on the exterior above ground and in the interior basement block walls. <br />"

There were areas that were raised above the rest of the driveway, and also areas that were completely worn away down to the dirt. The repair job was done perfectly.
