When we finalized the contract Josh gave us dates when they would be able to start the driveway as weather permitted. DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. I decided to move down the Columbus 3 years ago working as a supervisor for a company. "Last fall we contacted Curt's Brick and Stone and dealt w/Jake who was very knowledgable and made suggestions about our project that we had not thought of. Ultimately we decided that the timing was not right for this project. We then contacted Jake again in July of this year and proceeded w/ our original plans. The price remained basically the same from the 1st quote to the 2nd quote which was a pleasant suprise. Another Jake and Justin came out to install our paver patio and we could not be better pleased with these young men very polite and hardworking individuals. As time went on we came to the conclusion that these guys could very well have been building a patio for their parents or themselves, as they were that meticulous in everything that they did . "Chris always returned the calls in timely manner. Concrete projects usually need waiting based on company's book-of-work and weather. Therefore, Chris proactively called me every two weeks to update me the latest, after he told me in Mar that my project probably be on in May. The price is very reasonable. Plus, I like the way of pricing - the qoute is lump-sum and no additional charge for 'trivials' during the project. When the project began, we found the steps of side door need to be removed and re-made. Chris did not charge me additionally for the new steps."

"Mark and his crew always do a fantastic job.  I've lost count of how many years I've used their service.  I always receive a return phone call within 48 hours of reaching out (leaving a voicemail message).  Mark makes an effort to "squeeze" me in as early in the season as possible.  Since I work from home, I have an opportunity to see when they arrive and depart.  The work is done efficiently and everyone is friendly.  My front and back yards look great every year.  I'm always so impressed that I take an annual picture.  In recent years, I've use this service provider for spring/fall clean up only, but Yard Righ Landscaping did all of the landscaping for me (both front yard and around back patio) for a reasonable price a few years ago.  I also used Yard Right Landscaping for poison ivy removal last summer/fall."

"We have had problems with moss and mildew causing our pavers to be slippery. We also had some pavers that have been stained by black walnut husks. L-W has a special machine that gently cleans the pavers and collects the dirty water for disposal. The pavers are allowed to dry for several days, and then they apply a sealer. I think they also sweep in some sand (or a special sand mix) into the seams. Depending on traffic, the sealer is supposed to help for 3-5 years. We have large trees and a shady lot so we have had problems with moss, mildew and weeds. We also wanted to have some paavers with permanent stains removed and replaced prior to sealing. L-W found matching pavers and did a great job on this. Now, we are careful to remove black walnuts from the pavers so we don't get any further stains. They were very professional and helpful and did a great job. We will use them again. <br />"

He was able to answer all of our questions and put everything in writing. His cost was the same or lower than the other quotes we got and with his years in the industry and favorable reviews, we felt like this was a good fit. The company did not disappoint. Gabe kept in touch consistently until the weather cleared up enough to begin work. His crew arrived on time every day. They were very friendly and professional and worked very hard the entire time. We made some minor changes to the plan during the process and Gabe and the crew didn't seem to mind. Each day, they cleaned up the yard and left everything in perfect condition. The work took about 6 days. We are more than thrilled with the results. The patio is beautiful and sturdy.
