"The windows, Vytex Potomac, are excellent and the crew installed 10 windows in one day. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. I would like to put a special shout-out to the crew. They worked well together and looked like they enjoyed their craft. They were also very kind and went above and beyond just installing my windows. One of the crew members even readjusted my screen door. It used to shut hard but works perfectly now. My wife told him doors were not part of the job and he said that he just wanted to do it. The professionalism, attention to detail, cleanliness and topped off by kindness…. A home owner would be hard pressed to find a better outfit to get windows from. Thanks for the great windows and the great experience. Sincerely, Joe Stokes."
When windows are 10 feet tall, then a motorized lift is quite handy to assist with the installation.
In the winter months, it is always a good idea to bring extra lighting because the the sun sets so early and we must stay to complete the installation.

"We were so pleased with everything about GBH. Robert the salesman answered all of our questions and concerns. Jesse showed up early on the day of installation and got straight to work! He was very professional. He cleaned up afterward, you'd never know he was there. You can tell he takes pride in his work. The windows look beautiful!"

"Our experience was WONDERFUL. Tom was very professional, provided us with a quote in-house, and accurately projected the costs and timing for complete window replacement. The quote was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than any other quote we had received (we had 3 other estimates done). The windows themselves are high-quality Alside double-hung vinyl windows including one large picture window in our living room. The installers were professional and very hardworking. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in even less than the time frame they had projected. They managed the work well and left very little for us to clean after they finished. The windows are beautiful and have already reduced our cooling and heating bills. We would (and have) recommended Tom and Just Windows to anyone who is considering replacing their windows."

"We chose them based on Angies List ratings and location. They came over and gave an estimate which seemed fair. The guy who came to measure the windows was having problems measuring our old metal casement windows because they had internal storms/screens with frames covering the windows. I suggested that he measure from outside or remove the frames (we had already signed contract) but he said he had it. Turns out his measurements were inaccurate and when the windows arrived there were large (over an inch) gaps. The installer said windows should have been a little larger. Installation seemed to go ok but the installers did not show us how to operate the sliding windows or how to remove them for cleaning. Installers left smears, sticker residue, and smudges all over the glass and when I tried to take them out for cleaning a few days later they would not come out. Installers came back and they started shaving off part of the window on the bottom when they suddenly discovered that the sliding windows have wheels on the bottom that are adjustable. Made me think they have never done this before! There also did not appear to be any supervision of the job, which I would have expected since the installers may not be very experienced (based on wheel issue). They cleaned the windows and left, and windows seem to be ok but we will find out when the weather gets cold. Email communication with owner was fine (he offered to bring everybody over to discuss the mismeasurement issue but it was only a couple of inches so I declined, I just wanted to know how to take them out). However the installers came early the first time without calling and also showed up unexpectedly to make repairs without calling, which isn't very professional. We need to replace downstairs windows but we will use somebody else next time."

"We recently purchased a 100 year old home in Irvington and needed a few piers installed underneath our chimney, where the foundation was sinking. The foundation repairs were paid for by the sellers of our new home, and they made a check out to Acculevel at the closing of our house. We had a couple minor hiccups with the office, as they initially had said we STILL needed to give them a deposit even though the amount was paid in full already. Once we explained that we had a check in full, they were very effective with scheduling a time to have a two man crew come out and install the necessary piers. Everything went incredibly smooth. They inspected the foundation in our crawlspace to see if any work needed to be done on the inside as well. They had to dig up and replant a bush on the side of our house, and unfortunately that plant died about a month later. That wasn't a deal breaker for us though. The foundation of our home is way more important than any plant in our yard. There was a 25 year warranty with the piers, so hopefully it will prove to withstand the test of time! I was incredibly pleased with the service, communication and thoroughness of the job.  <br />"
