He arranged for a serviceman to come by, check out the problem, and thoroughly inspect the furnace before making repairs (rather than rely on an earlier assessment by another company). The service charge would be $90.00 and applied to the cost of repair. When the serviceman was delayed, the owner, Greg, stopped by himself. He did not do the complete assessment since he didn?t have his service truck, but he was able to diagnose the problem and did not charge me for that visit. In less than an hour after he left, I received an email with the repair cost including labor. That was followed by an offer to replace the inducer motor the next day. Since the next day was Saturday, we set up a time for Monday. On Monday, Greg called and said he could come a bit earlier if that worked for me. So, today the motor was replaced in about 30 minutes. No more standing water in our craw space. Sump pump replaced and reconfigured. Below grade drains placed at foundation with 4à ¢à  à  drain tubes with silt socks going to sump. Trench filled with pea gravel. Also placed around furnace platform area draining under foundation. Excellent service for a fair price. Their staff were very helpful and courteous.
