"Jamie, the owner, is great to work with.  He provided ideas and helped us develop a final plan for the walkway and small patio.  We have a detached garage so the walkway goes from the deck about 40 feet to the side entrance at the back of the garage.  His stonework crew was efficient, and very skilled.  They first removed the existing slate walkway that was on a sand base and had shifted a bit over the years.  It also sloped down to the garage and was very slippery in winter.  They dug out the area and poured a concrete base, then installed the flagstone.  The walkway has two curved edges that are perfect, and the crew put in two small steps so the sections would be level.  The crew also ensured that water would drain properly away from the garage.  They took away the old slate, cleaned up everything and even washed down the paved alley behind the garage.  The stone work took three days.  The second crew that tilled the yard and put in sod was also excellent.  They asked about FIOS and Comcast cables.  I knew where the the FIOS cable started and that it was about 8 inches below ground.  They carefully dug up the cable so they would not cut it with the tiller.  They they re-buried the cable.  They also put in an underground 4-inch drainage pipe from a downspout with a pop-up drain near the rear of the yard.  Our yard is not big - the work area was maybe 30' x 40'., so they completed the sod work in one day.
I highly recommend Divine Landscaping.  You will be dealing directly with the owner; he has experienced workers that have been with Divine for years; pricing is very reasonable; workmanship is excellent; cleanup is thorough, and Jamie and his crews pay attention to detail, and ask questions whenever there is an issue to be resolved.  We are very pleased with the final results, and have received many complements from neighbors.  Divine Landscaping is terrific and will be first on our list for future landscaping work."

"Robeto Pacano and his crew extensively restored flower beds in the back and front yards by laying down weed block and attractive large stones, trimmed trees that were overgrown, established a large gravel parking pad on the street, resodded an eroded area in the back yard, and installed undeground drainage pipes to take water away from the house and back yard down to the street.  They are creative and profesional, and prices are reasonable for the work involved.  As my son commented, the back yard now looks like a photo from a magazine!

His pricing was similar to what we paid a different provider last year, and in this time of inflation, that was appreciated! Scheduling was easy and the crew showed up first thing on the date scheduled. The crew leader was easy to talk to and shared Jesus' positive demeanor and willingness to make sure we were happy with the work. We have a fairly large property with numerous planting beds, and the crew worked diligently to pull weeds, hand edge with a shovel, trim shrubs (and pull out of couple of dead ones), and blow out leaves and other debris prior to spreading Preen (which we provided) and mulch. Rainy weather caused several delays but once things finally cleared, Baumann's crew came in force and did a beautiful landscaping of our back yard, including installing a sprinkler to keep things growing while we were away, installing a downspout drain, and adding pavers and a small stone patio. They also did a massive clean up of our yard, clearing out weeds, thinning out bushes, and replacing the mulch. We don't look like we live in the jungle anymore. For general yard clean-up and maintenance, these guys are great and punctual."
