We had some rough patches (work wasn't started until almost 2 months after cedar was delivered, but there were some rainy days in there), but the pictures speak for themselves. In addition, when the planks started going up & they were facing the wrong side (we wanted the "pretty" part on the outside so kids couldn't climb it easily), I called & they took care of it, which was a decent amount of rework. "Julio Barletta and company installed our fence in September 1995. Yes, I know this review is kind of late :). I just wanted to add my two cents worth. Twenty four years of hot, baking summer sun; pouring down rain; wind storms; hail storms; and everything else North Central Texas weather can throw at it, this fence still looks brand new. The backyard is on a 15 degree incline. The fence is 8 ft. level top, board on board, clear cedar. Over the courser of time, the fence has been power washed and re-stained 3 times. In Texas, if you don't maintain your fence, you are asking for disaster. People are astounded when I tell them how old it is. Most think I must be mistaken. I tell them when it was installed and then tell them to do the math. Again, I just wanted to add my voice and reaffirm what other reviewers have said. Barletta fences are the gold standard."

"Greg installed our fence in 2003. We have used it at all times during the last 21 years and it has not only kept kids and animals out of our pool (except when we wanted our kids and others in the pool), but it has also kept out grass clippings from lawnmowers and some leaves. Recently 85-90 mph winds damaged a small part of our fence (and caused four significant branches from our large oak tree to fall). Greg repaired that part of our fence at no charge even though the damage was due to an Act of Nature instead of a defect. Highly recommend!"

"Reed Fence and Deck was excellent. They came and gave me an estimate. They explained everything that needed to be done. I have a pool so a retaining wall was built on the alley side and up along the side of the house. They did the job in 3 days and made sure everything was cleaned up. They came back to stain the fence a month later. This is because the wood has to "cured" before it can be stained. Staining was done in half a day. I would recommend Reed Fence to anybody. We are very happy with our beautiful looking fence. A very professional company."
