"Was looking to do a large front and back yard landscaping project, had a general sense of what I wanted to accomplish and what we wanted the project to look like but the details were squishy. Ultimately, I received bids from multiple companies of varying quality, Forest Landscape won out. While not the cheapest bid, Jose was fantastic throughout the process. He was extremely accommodating with varying requests from getting a design on paper to every permutation of the project to help decide on the options. Ultimately this project involved multiple retaining walls, multiple paver spaces (patio, and driveway extensions), artificial turf installation, play area, lighting, irrigation, landscape design, planting. It was through building this trust and comfort early in the process that he helped make my decision. I knew that as we encountered issues during the project as is always true, we'd be able to quickly come up with a solution and move forward. We ironed out all the details on what was being provided and a timeline for getting started. Once into the construction phase Rigo took over as the construction lead, we walked over the project ensuring what was going to be constructed met my expectations. From there the team quickly got to work, the attention to detail from the crew was exceptional and they were always willing to revisit any areas as I had concerns with. Khel the site lead and entire crew did a great job, they cleaned up each and every day, they even went so far as to put of my fencing at the end of each day so the dog could use the yard that night. This project took a little over three weeks to complete and resulted in a complete transformation of the space. The attention to detail and partnership throughout the process was highly valued, I really appreciated doing business with this locally family run business. All in all they did a fantastic job from beginning to the end, I'd highly recommend Forest Landscape for any landscape project from large to small."

They replaced an old, failing retaining wall with a beautiful stone retaining wall with a French drain behind it. I showed Israel pictures of what I wanted it to look like and his team did an amazing job making my vision a reality. They were careful with my existing plants and landscaping and went above and beyond by moving and repotting a shrub that I was unable to move by myself before the work began. "I found Handy Hands on Angie's List.  Armando showed up to give a free estimate right on time.  I told him that I wanted to get rid of the weeds and put in a plastic lawn edge to keep the grass out of the flower bed border.  Armando recommended a stone border instead - it is better looking and more durable.  He provided an estimate via email on the date he said he would.  We accepted the offer and work on weed removal began.  <br /> What would have taken me all summer, Handy Hands completed in just 2 days.  All the weeds were removed.  It was like having a clean slate in the backyard.  Now, I could focus on what I love, growing food and flowers.  The cost was ~ $500.00 and it was money well spent. <br /> Next, was the installation of the stone border.  We had to change the dates and Armando accommodated our schedule.  The stones are the same height as the lawn so a lawn mower wheel can roll over the stones, mowing the grass right to the edge.  This required a trench to be dug from the north side of the back yard to the south, approximately 100'.  Then, a 2 inch layer of 3/8 minus is put in the trench and tamped down flat.  The gentleman that installed the stone border was meticulous and the results show it.  The border is straight and even.  He tamped each stone into place with a mallet, measured the height with a level and the edge with a ruler.  He took his time, made adjustments as needed and still finished most of the project in a day. We bought the stones from Western Interlock, the same place we bought our walkway stones, because we wanted them to match.  Pro-Bark on Reservoir Road provided the 3/8 minus.  The cost was ~ $ 160.00.  Again, a great investment. <br /> Finally, the fence.  We decided on the fence during the original project and Armando accommodated this scope change by updated the contract.  Armando provided the cement, brackets, posts, galvanized nails and fence boards.  The posts are pressure treated and the boards are of good quality cedar.  The gentleman installing the fence took his time and did quality work.  The fence is straight and even, the work took 4 days - 1 day to dig the post holes, 2 days waiting for the concrete to set, 1 day to install the fence.  It costs ~$700.00 and looks great. <br /> I highly recommend Handy Hands Landscaping and will use their service again for future landscaping and outdoor construction needs."

"Justin and the welder completed the job in one day. They were able to work around the problems (gate was aluminum, not long enough wire in the package, and a few others). The quality of the work is outstanding with everything rock solid and functional. From the beginning they were very flexible about the job and provided a lot of helpful advice. "I could not be more pleased with the result of all three projects. I feel like I have a new house. I had ideas about what I wanted but there were a lot of details involved and at times it was overwhelming. Jeremy and all of the people involved were very good at giving me guidance and options without pressure. I was referred to a kitchen designer who was very helpful in reviewing layout possibilities and was able to give me computer renderings as my ideas changed, The sub contractor that refinished the floors, did a beautiful job on floors that had seen some damage. Jeremy gave me the suggestion to use the wood in a bedroom to repair and replace damage in other more central places. Using new wood in the bedroom, he recommended a darker wood border around the new wood so the difference in woods looked intentional. The result was more than expected, it looked beautiful and I liked it so much I had it repeated in the kitchen. People always comment on my floors.ed <br /> The whole team was very helpful, professional and considerate from Diane in the office to Rick who supervised my project. Rick provided me with some lovely custom shelving in my new bathroom and kitchen giving the rooms character as well as vital additional storage. The relatively small problems that I did encounter, were also handled by Leigh's smoothly like the sink that arrived damaged and the refrigerator I ordered the wrong size. I feel like I have a new house and for the most part I do. <br /> This was a big and extensive series of projects and by the nature of it, very disruptive and the folks at Leigh's seem to really understand that and looked to minimize the impact. They advised me on how I should prepare and assisted me in setting up. I think Jeremy and his group are skilled, professional, reasonably priced and go the extra mile. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use them again. <br />"
