"Nicole was very informative & reassuring on the phone.  I believed I had bees in my duplex's porch roof as I had had them once before many years ago.  I had seen them -- what seemed to be scouting out the roofline 2 wkends before on a sunny morning-- & although I had had bees before, I forgot about it -- until the following weekend when I saw them already coming & going and knew they were settling in, so I started calling around Monday morning.  I love bees (but can't have them in my roof) & I was concerned that they be removed & relocated, if possible.  That I had made these observations & called quickly was very helpful to Nicole -- and was able to give me a lot of bee information, and we booked for Friday morning 8 am so I would not have to be late to work. 
Steve was running a little late with the traffic.  Can't remember who called who 1st, but I got him off La Brea & on a side street so altho' he was a little late, I was able to get set him up & leave him to deal with it without being more then a few minutes late to work.
Although I gave a check to Steve I did have to remind Nicole to get me an invoice for my tax records.  I think she was having some email issues but I did get it about a week later.  Altho' Steve had mentioned seeing wasps, I didn't realize until I saw the billing description that I had had Wasps, not Bees !  Good thing I got BeeCatchers out here right away !

"Work was done for our HOA. The original estimate was for pruning, fertilizing, and spraying to inhibit olive growth. Since we know little about how to maintain those trees, we were prepared to pay the original quote that included the spraying. We were impressed that he was honest and let us know that spraying should not be done at this time of year and that we would only need to pay half of what we were quoted. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up completely when they were done. We will definitely use them again to spray (at the right time of year!) and to maintain those trees."

Excellent is all I can say about Torres Tree Service.

We found out on Thursday (7/23/15) that our previous tree service company did a horrible job and actually only ground down our tree about 4 inches and left a massive root system in place where our new wall was supposed to go in.

Torres came out to the house with about 5 hours notice on Friday to give us a quote.  The catch was we have construction being held up by this root.  Torres Tree Service came Saturday at 7:00am to work on the stump grinding before their other appointments.

After about 30 minutes they realized there was more to this job, they called me over so I could see what was going on.

The previous Tree people had ground down the main stump of the tree about 4 inches and then covered it with dirt and shavings to look like they did the proper work.

This prompted me to write a review about the other service that is not very friendly to say the least.

The people from Torres are awesome, they did not complain, they did not ask for more money, they just kept at it (for over 3 hours on what was supposed to be a 1 hour job for them).

These guys really stepped up, not only am I thankful..  I am grateful for their professionalism and attention to doing the job right.

"First of all, this guy is a certificated ARBORIST! He knows trees!  This was very important to me.  I didn't want "some guy with a chainsaw" to tell me the trees had to come down.  
After looking over the trees and their location, he told me that the trees would continue their secondary growth and that growth would push up the pavers in the yard, and even if the pavers were reinstalled the secondary growth would push them up again over time.  He gave me some options to consider.
He is based out of central Orange County and because of distance, he declined to do work in Bellflower which was disappointing.

"After purchasing the Big Deal, the provider contacted us promptly and was helpful in explaining the service.  They explained that an additional area we wanted to clean would cost a reasonable amount more, on top of the Big Deal, which seemed fair.  They arrived on time.  The wood was turning green before the service, but looked perfectly clean and new after the service.  Our only concern was that one thin wooden banister was nearly broken following the treatment, which we understand can be common with power washing.
