"We met a few days prior to the start of the job. My wife and I had a vacation scheduled and the work was done while we were away. James kept us in the loop during the whole process. He found a few issues with rot in the framing of deck roof and the chimney as he opened things up. We added those two items onto the list of work. James sent us pictures along the way. When we returned home the project was 90% done. Because of the framing work that needed done and some weather issues the job took 2 days longer than projected...no worries, that happens on every project no matter what. It was not because of anything James did wrong, actually it was because he wanted the fix done right and then there was rain. It took James and his team 2 more days. We did a walk around the property on monday after we returned while the team was still there and reviewed what was still to be done, and what needed a little extra attention. By the end of the next day the job was done. In total the Townsley team was there 9 days. During that time they repaired the decking and framing of the roof, removing the old and replace the roof shingles including all new drip edge, caps, flashing and shingles, replaced 2 skylights, power washed the siding, gutters, eaves, chimney, painted all exterior surfaces including shutters (after removal), siding, gutters, eave, soffit, downspouts, exterior wood trim and the ceiling of the deck area, and several stucco repairs that were needed. Throughout the process, James' communication was excellent, and the product of his work was fantastic...the house looked brand new. WELL DONE! A great value as well. When done, the team cleaned up the mess that was present, including cleaning the deck, returning the outdoor furniture to its original location, and blowing the dust from the property. Christmas Day we had a leak I called and he answered and came out the next day to repair my roof. The owner was professional and polite and made my roof a priority!  We joked about how santa ruined my roof! I was amazed how fast the repair took and how  quick he came out over a holiday. We are on a fixed income and procrastinating to get our roof redone. I definitely called the right company because they made it way more affordable than we anticipated.

"Project Mgr. Chris Burton was excellent to work with. Very responsive. He told us that it would take about 8 weeks for the windows to come in. I called the office after 8 weeks and the windows were in. Odd that no one had called me to tell me this. But we were able to set up the installation date very quickly. All the work was done in one day by the foreman, Jan, and one helper. They were very neat in removing the old windows. No mess was left outside and the outside capping looks very nice. Windows were installed neatly and caulked on the inside. No carpentry or re-painting was required by me at all. The windows look like they have always been there. For the money they seem to be of good quality. Floors and carpets didn't appear to be tarped completely during the installation. The new windows were cleaned after installation. But I found it odd that they asked for my Windex rather than having their own. They vacuumed somewhat at the end of the day. But I had to wash footprints off my kitchen floor and do a lot of sweeping and vacuuming around entrance doors and under the windows after they left. That said, it seemed like a small price to pay for the price and quality of the new windows and installation. My wife and I are very happy with the way the project turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Thermal Quality Window and Door Co."
