He and his carpenter, James, always arrived on time and the ramp exceeded our expectations, it ties in great with our house and yard. "From the time APS Garage Door showed up at my home. I was very impressed on his punctuality, and courteousness. Vincent showed me different samples in catalogs of different types of doors. I ordered my door and he showed up two weeks later install and installed the door that I wanted and only 2 hours. "Steve & Stacie were phenomenal to work with. They beat all expectations I had for the job at hand. They worked as a team and knocked out 2 bathroom projects in just 3 days. They left no mess and they kept the dust and mud out of the rest of the house, which is a real plus in my book. I have 2 small children who always wanted to talk and play with the new faces in the house and they never once got aggravated with them. They played as they worked. I had a brand new tile shower installed by another company and steve and Stacie made sure to tape and cover everything up so that it didn’t get affected by mud or texture. "Windows from Zen are excellent looking double-pane windows at an affordable price (plus, I took advantage of an Angie's List special package deal).  A tremendous improvement over our existing bare aluminum windows. Everything was as-advertised and the windows had no damage or issues whatsoever.  The installers came when they said they would and the installation is neat and professional-looking.  I will call Zen when I get around to replacing other windows and doors.

"Allen and his crew arrived actually a few minutes early to begin work.  Our condominium storage room was a disaster after the massive floods of April 29, 2014.  They removed all tools, boxes of lighting and landscaping supplies, extra fence rails and lumber, and metal shingles from the room and began work.  They installed metal shelving  on 2 walls, installed tool and ladder hanging equipment throughout, and they also built a wooden frame hanging from the ceiling and back wall to hold odd pieces of lumber, replacement 8-foot fence rails and the like.  They re-placed all our items in the new storage room in a very organized and user-friendly fashion. They constructed a 1-1/4" high support system to hold metal shingles, getting them off the concrete floor and out of the way.  They hung metal shelving in our electrical room for more storage.  They made excellent use of much previously wasted space.
These gentlemen worked steady and very hard in 100+ degree heat, did an exceptional job for us in just over 5 hours.  Did I mention that the cost actually came in more than $50 under budget?!!  (Allen's quote was very fair to begin with!)  We are very pleased with Allen and his team, and will definitely call on them for future projects. We definitely recommend Allen's Home and Rental Repairs.

"My husband and I found out late on Monday (8/31/15) that we unfortunately had an active leak in our roof from our chimney and we immediate attention.
We called two companies (both from Angie's List), including R & A, that Monday evening AFTER 5p. We left a message with the first company (which we never even received a call back through the week!) and were surprised to have Randall and his wife, Aimee, the owners of R & A, answer their phone after 'normal business hours'.
They let us know that they actually specialize in these kinds of leaks/repairs and assured us that following any work from their company, we would not have any further issues. Aside from answering immediately, they were also able to come out FIRST thing the very NEXT morning to give a FREE inspection/estimate - Tuesday (9/1/15).
Randall and Aimee were professional, personable and efficient in their inspection and informative in explaining what was wrong. They gave us two honest estimates - one that would fix the problem and one that would fix it but also add a proactive step. In addition to our specific problem with the chimney, they noted a few other things about the roof and were very helpful in educating me on a few things about roofs and our style of house.
After speaking with them multiple times after our inspection on Tuesday via phone (they answered each phone call promptly!), we booked the job with them and they had one of their employees out to our house to work FIRST thing the NEXT MORNING! 
The gentleman that completed the work for the company, Stacy Pritchard, was nothing short of professional, courteous, clean, efficient and did a great job on our roof. One man finished the job before lunch time!
All in all, I cannot say enough how INCREDIBLE and POSITIVE of an experience it was to work with Randall and Aimee. They are two of the most generous individuals that I have ever met and they worked with my husband and I to ensure that this job was completed quickly and in a way that my husband and I could afford. It is difficult these days to find great customer service and companies that are so prompt and thorough in their work. R & A above and beyond exceeded our expectations! It is immediately evident that they take great pride in what they do.
We have had to do a lot of work on our home since we purchased it two years ago, from chimney to plumbing, drywall repair, appliance install and repair, flooring, electrical, landscaping, decking, painting to air conditioning. In all of that, I feel completely confident that we were most pleased in working with Randall and Aimee.
All 'straight A' reviews cannot be wrong, but they certainly do not do this company justice! They are wonderful to work with and we will use them again in the future as well as recommend them to friends and family.
Just to note again (because it is worth it!) - we called them Monday after normal business hours and the work was completed before lunch time on Wednesday!
