"Overall - very well. The cleaning was done on a rainy day as such the application of the moss retardant happened on a separate visit. The roof and gutters look amazing. We have skylights - the moss retardant application did not leave a residue. The staff worked well together; answered my questions/comments quite well; cleaned up the grounds very nicely. Minor negative - the crew showed up when they were available (we had no forewarning). One large fir limb ended up in flower bed but that might have been the only option for those on the roof (about 3 stories to ground)."

"They had been out the previous years to do patch work on our roof and were always punctual and thorough. So when it came time for a new roof we got a quote from two companies, one out of Portland and one from Brown's in The Dalles. They were very close in price so we went with our local guys and so glad we did. We knew if there were any problems they could be out right away. They did a great job with the roof and cleanup and were right on time. Now we have a beautiful roof with a 10 year guarantee on workmanship and 30 year on the roof"

"I was skeptical about the repair locatuion but waited for some subsequent heavy rains but no further leaks occurred and I <br /> have now repaired the ceiling damage. Dave was correct for which I grateful, especially for his prompt response <br /> when 2 other roofers refused to respond. I have contracted with his company for roof cleaning. <br />"

"Our basement is partially finished and had Pergo flooring. Over the winter our pipes froze and burst causing about an inch of water to fill half the basement. Kings Bros helped us fix everything from the flooring to insulating the pipes and basement and a bunch of odds and ends that cropped up as they poked around in the crawlspace. Our house is now more energy efficient and we didn't run into any other problems with the pipes for the rest of the winter. The flooring is perfectly flat and level with no gaps or weird angles whatsoever. They did a great job and we hired them again to do our kitchen tile in August 2014. Recommended! <br /> <br />"

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Baker City, OR

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
