"I have horses on a small acreage property. Most of the fencing that was present needed to be replaced. The acreage is on a mountain terrain with very little flat ground and in many places shallow rocky soil. Not the easiest fencing job in the world. Terrance had the expertise and background to install a sturdy fence complete with rock jacks and rock cribs for support that should be in good shape for 50+ years. Terrance returned phone calls quickly, came out and did a detailed estimate and started working immediately after getting all the required materials together. He and his crew worked long hours steadily from start to finish and completed the job in less than a week. From start to finish, Terrance was ready to answer any questions I had and if a problem arose during construction due to some aspect of the terrain and a change needed to be made he discussed the solution with me. Terrance was courteous and professional, has the expertise needed and completed the work described in the contract completely and promptly."

"Estimator was responsive & listened to what we wanted to accomplish with the fence. The estimate was what we thought to be a fair price. The two installers were efficient and had the job done in good time. We have a small lot with a peekaboo to a golf course. Our goal was to allow some privacy between our neighbors but not visually enclose ourselves. Pacific Fence accomplished our goal. Fence has approval from the neighbor association, neighbors next to us & in the cul de sac, it is visually appealing."

"Broken Torsion Spring This is the 2nd time I had service from Edelen Doors and Windows Company. The first time lasted 6 years ago, so I can’t complain. As matter of fact, I was really impressed with the technician Santiago Llanos, they sent out to service my broken garage spring. I used to work as a field service tech for Xerox as a copier technician for 10 years, so I know when observing someone’s work will tells me if they are an experienced and knowledgeable person. Santiago knows exactly what he was doing the entire time. He measured & measured and even repositioned the spring mount center-plate that was like that forever. Every little detail was performed flawlessly. Once the springs replacement was done, he then tune-up and lubricated every moving parts of my garage doors hinges and bushings. The entire job went well efficient and he cleaned up every drip on the floor from lubrication. He even advised me not to put too much grease on the screw drive track to prevent grease from dripping from the hot summer. I. Santiago has been doing this for 15 years so I trust his work and would recommend him to anyone who needs service on garage door."

Choosing the right Home Inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and yes, different pricing. All of our inspectors hold Associats Degrees in Building Inspection Technology which required classes in Building Codes, Electrical Codes, Mechanical Codes, Plumbing Codes, Engineering Classes, Plan Review Classes and technical Report writing classes. All new employeees go through an extensive consistetency training program before going to work for us, so you always get the same highly efficient, educated and friendly staff who understand the key diffrnece between a minor defect and a serious structural concern. We don’t write books we write quality easy to read reports.\n \nOne thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you honor us by permitting us to inspect your new home, I guarantee we will give you our very best effort. This we promise you. Anything less and you can call us below 24 hours a day 7 days a week.\n \n\nJack Applegate, CBO 503-812-9399 inspbuild@hotmail.com\nBrandon Zipser 503-931-6272 bzipser@hotmail.com

"Job was finished in less than 5 hours. Work was done in a confined area between my house and a new fence. Their crew did a great job! Very professional young men that pay attention to detail. Their clean-up was exceptional, Property was ready to use when they left. <br /> I told Brian who estimates their jobs, a time line was not important to me. I was put off 1 day and a late show up the next day. That had no effect on me being retired but if you have to take time off of work to be there when the work is done I would let Brian know that. Again I told him not to worry about putting my job on the back burner but I don't know about people with schedules. <br /> I did not get a second estimate as I wanted the job done right and relied on Angie's list. I've had good results with Angie's list in the past after dealing with some not so good contractors at a cheaper rate in the past. Don't know about cost difference but Marshall's Landscape does excellent work! <br />"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Baker City, OR

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
