I said it was NOT an emergency, and we agreed on a date and time that worked with both our schedules. Their plumber arrived on time on the day agreed, quickly found that my problem was a damaged garbage disposal, and installed a replacement that morning. He was very knowledgeable and professional and cleaned up after he finished. In the past I have used them for all manner of other work, including digging up my front yard to replace collapsed plumbing outside the house. I was told various things, call someone else or just ghosted. Powells took the bull by the horns. They tracked down the manufacturer of my old school system here in The Woods and with some detective work diagnosed and replaced pump without digging it all up. Two prior companies had said it needed to be dug up. If you have a REAL problem, call a REAL plumber!"

"This service was arranged by Lowes initially. Because we were hoping to increase the size of our tank and add a circulating pump, Pleasant Valley arranged a site detail visit. As it turned out, our space would not allow a tank change and they were not familiar with the pump, although Lowes had told us they had been able to show them the pump on a store visit. I'm assuming Lowe's showed it to one of the other rotating contractors by mistake. Initially, their initial call back time was slow, but in all fairness, Lowe's was in charge of getting the details to the company and we were making modifications which we weren't informed would slow the process down. Once they did their site visit and discussed with us, in detail, what was possible and what our needs were, they were very quick to get the job done and everything went very smoothly. We're very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future, although we'll call directly rather than going through Lowe's. <br />"
