"The installation of the door was done well; however, the work area was not adequately protected (no floor protection) and a crowbar was dropped on my new hardwood floor and put a gash in the floor. There was also a communication issue between the sales department and the installers on putting on new break metal around the outside of the door. Yes I would use them again but I would confirm everything with the installers before the start and I would make sure they prep the area to protect the property."

"They installed our sump pump system with backup battering very efficiently and professional and in less than one day. After discussions on the correct equipment, they provided additional effort to be sure the wi-fi backup equipment was installed and was working efficiently. Any questions on installation and operation I had were answered on-the-spot and with ease. System seems great and I now have peace of mind during a bad storm or if the power should go out. I would recommend them to anyone."

"The project involved installation of 200 ft. of underground pipe connected to 4 drain boxes under each of 4 downspouts. The property is sloped, shady and was eroded due to runoff. Mr. Davis responded quickly and came to the site to evaluate the project. I explained that I wanted double walled (smooth inside, corrugated outside) watertight pipe. He provided an estimate the following day. It was the best estimate of the 3 estimates obtained. Because the pipe was not available locally at the time, he went to Annapolis (a considerable distance) to obtain it. He and another employee came on the prescribed day and accomplished the job in a day and a half. A small piece of equipment with a bucket was used to dig the trenches. Given the nature of the job, I would say that disturbance of the surrounding ground, trees and shrubs was minimal. Once the installation was complete, the area was raked smooth; seeded with the seed of my choice and covered with straw. Now that we have had rain and a few good downpours, there has been no runoff or erosion. Mr. Davis and his employee were professional, considerate and friendly. I would highly recommend them."

"JDS is a fantastic company and a pleasure to work with. Jordan, the owner, came to my house to evaluate the job and provide an estimate. He was very detailed and honest in his assessment. He made various recommendations that substantially improved the setup of the systems, including some that helped reduce costs. A few days before the job was to start, I had to re-schedule due to unrelated reasons. Jordan was able to reshuffle his schedule to be able to accommodate my new timeframe. His crew was always punctual, clean, and respectful of my house. They worked very efficiently and were able to complete the job in under a week. The two windows look great and have substantially improved the feeling of the basement, I would highly recommend JDS to anyone looking into egress windows. Outstanding experience!"

"I can't say enough good things about this company. Mike and his team were beyond professional. They were on time, courteous, clean, and of course knowledgeable. Mike always returned my calls or texts very promptly, and clearly puts the customer first. His team did an outstanding job installing a quality egress window for a very reasonable price, and it looks great! I highly recommend using Captain Egress for any of the services they provide."
