"We found water leaking from the water heater. Just by chance. So he just jumped in and replaced it. All Good. He originally came to replace a bath room fan with an upgrade that has a heater. I had purchased a unit long ago ,still in the box, so he proceeded to install it, He informed me that it was wired directly but need a part ordered for it. I decided to purchase another new one ,which I did. He left the crawl space open. He left the new wire to the fan hanging in the crawl with no staples. He mounted a used switch on the wall for the heating part of the fan. It was not at the same height and was a cream colored switch with a white cover. On the other wall the fan switch and light switch were not separated. They now are. I bought a new switch and had it put in. I bought another new Heat switch and cover and mounted it. I still have not stapled the wire up. I will in the future. I will put the crawl cover back on and replace the TV . I asked for a receipt and he said the water heater from Menards was around 900 dollars and would give me a receipt. Never did but on the phone he said in text he would try to find it. I'm still waiting. The company did work to resolve any problems we had and they did take care of everything."

"We had never met Dustin before this experience. He came out and gave our roof a free evaluation before we decided to file an insurance claim. During his walk around, he noticed some objects in the gutter of our 2-story home and essentially cleaned our gutter for us while he looked around. That was above and beyond. He also made sure we understood he would personally be overseeing the work and be up there right beside the crew nearly every step of the way. He rearranged his schedule to fit the insurance claim adjusters schedule so that Dustin could assist the adjuster with the roof’s assessment. In the end, insurance paid it all. Dustin showed up when he said he would, was very good about keeping us updated on the progress, and was mindful and great with our 5 kids. They cleaned the area up very well, running the lawn magnet multiple times to ensure no stray nails. Even though he was short a person one day, he made sure to account for that and still got the roof done on time. It was impressive to watch Dustin manage the admin and the physical labor so seamlessly. We were happy with the end result and the experience that he brought with him. He comes from a long line of roofers and explained early on he enjoys doing it. This showed in the level of detail he gave to his product and services. One last testament to his character: while on our roof he noticed the neighbor’s roof had more obvious hail damage than even our roof did. He mentioned it to us and suggested we tell the neighbor. However, he made it clear this was just a friendly observation and not to give out his card and information unless the neighbor asked. Given the number of storm chasers we have had in our neighborhood banging on our doors to try and get roofing business, it was very refreshing to see Dustin purely just wanting the neighbor to be aware of what was going on up on top of the two story and not simply trying to drum up more business. With that said, the neighbor insisted we supply Dustin’s information as ‘He saw the damage and I appreciate him asking you to say something without pressuring me.” Even if that was Dustin’s hope the whole time, I think that way of doing business is how one earns respect and trust. Bottom line: Dustin Mills Renovations did an excellent job, were polite and professional, great with our kids and dog, and got the job done on time and on budget. We would definitely use them again!"
