"The gentlemen were not only early because they knew it was going to rain, they were very polite, respectful, and did an awesome job. They even helped me move some extra furniture. I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you Pete(Derek) and Jeff."

"Truly cared about the quality of his work, wanted to be proud of his final product and went out of his way to meet the customers needs. We had a different contractor install a pantry in our kitchen who did a horrible job and Kevin from JK Construction came to fix the issue with the door and did cosmetic additions to make the cabinet look good in our kitchen. Saved the day for a very reasonable price. We greatly appreciated his work and will hire again!"

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Barton, MD

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
