Because that project was successful I hired them again to complete masonry work in the front, replace lower cemented steps, paint the entire base around the house and add railings to the steps. I didn’t do the whole house, just the main original part. so I decided on color matching to my original siding color. My experience with Home genius was spectacular. "Working with Rob and the Hammer Exterior team was the best choice I made for my project. During the pandemic I changed my house project priority from indoors to outdoors. I evaluated four contractors who came to my home, evaluated the siding and gutter replacement, and gave their proposals. I chose Rob and team for multiple reasons. First, I felt Rob had my best interests at heart. Others told me all about them, with less focus on my needs and home. Second, Rob took the time to review the project expectations, being transparent that some costs would not be known until the current two layers of siding were removed â one the original layer from early 1900s. Other contractors glossed over this. Third, Rob took the time to show me the materials that would be used, and their cost and impact to my home now and over the long term. Other contractors showed me the materials but did not go into detail. Rob was even kind enough to review material differences across proposals and share the pros and cons - even if I were to not choose him for the project. Fourth, Rob had an excellent crew come and do the work. They removed old aluminum siding and the original materials. "Very professional, install team showed up at 7:50am, slated for 8am. Removed all my windows, were very careful with removal, used drop clothes and disposed of all related trash. My new windows look great. The sales person informed me of all aspects of the job and the install manager double checked everything and advised me of all things that were required of me before the install. A real great, professional team. I would highly recommend them for any window replacement."
