Customers say: Quality work

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Marco at One Vet One Hammer, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his services. He completed three projects for me: assembling a kitchen island, installing a fireplace, and mounting a TV on the wall. From start to finish, Marco demonstrated professionalism and skill, ensuring that each task was done to perfection. What impressed me the most was his ability to deliver next-day service, which was incredibly helpful. His pricing is fair, and I truly felt that I received great value for the quality of work provided. If you're looking for someone reliable and efficient for your home projects, I highly recommend Marco. He has definitely earned my trust, and I will be reaching out to him for any future needs!"

Small jobs welcome

"After we saw the job he did on our driveway we hired him to wash our house as well. We were very picky about the house but he listened to our concerns and performed the job to our exact specifications. We asked him to use a product with no bleach, and to use a soft brush instead of a high speed power washer. The house looks great."

"Problem was shower floor leaked into basement. Wanted new shower tile and floor to fix leak, new sink, and new lights. Working schedule was sporadic. Some days someone would show, others not. Days/weeks went by with no work. He asked to work Saturdays which I allowed. Once payments of the "weekly progress invoices" totaled near the project total he packed tools and left with tile not grouted and doors not installed, and didn't return until threatened with being sued. Still didn't finish tile grouting or the doors. Damaged ceiling carrying in materials. By project end I did not trust him in my home. Less than year later shower floor is leaking into basement just as before. Working with Brian was a frustrating, annoying, expensive waste of time and money."

"Very well. Mr. TRAPANI was very ingenious and managed to perform the complicated task of rebuilding the column and re-mounting the gate to leave the situation as good as new !"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Baton Rouge, LA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
