"Mr . Joe contacted me early on June 25, 2024. I told him what I needed replacing. He said he could come by and look at what needed to be done with my Attic replacement stairs. He called me when he got into the driveway of my home. He looked at the Old Attic ladder & Door that needed replacing. Quoted me a very reasonable price. He said I can replace it for you now. I said great ?. He left and went to the store to buy the replacement ladder and picked up a helper. The job was completed in 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with his work. His helper Lacretia Edwards was also a great helper. They got the job done with no problems. Very professional and I would recommend HANDYMAN SERVICES, Mr. Joe Nichols to anyone needing repairs done. "Everyone told me that home repair companies would likely be taking only big roofing jobs after Hurricane Zeta hit New Orleans and that I might have to wait a month or longer to replace a single missing shingle that blew off during the Category 2 hurricane. While it definitely doesn’t meet the definition of a “big job,” even a single missing shingle can result in potentially significant (not to mention expensive) water damage inside the home the next time it rains. So, we called our go-to home-repair company, One Man and A Toolbox, the Monday after the hurricane. It isn’t often that I leave friends slack-jawed but that’s just what happened when I informed them that One Man and a Toolbox was sending one of their experienced workers (Henry) out to repair our roof the very next day (Tuesday). Henry not only repaired the roof shingle in question but also fixed another errant shingle he spotted while up on our roof. Total cost: $80. We are so grateful to One Man and a Toolbox for their amazing customer service and professional quality work — especially after a hurricane. This company is a class act. If it sounds like I’m a happy (and loyal) customer, you would be absolutely correct."

"Louis was easy to work with on this project. It required plumbing changes, adjusting walls, new floor, a pocket door addition, replacing a tub, installing and tiling a new shower with body jets on opposing walls. The two workers, Jacob and Glen were on time and cleaned up each day. Setbacks extended the project from three weeks to a bit over five weeks, but it was well worth the wait. I particularly liked that he listened to our ideas, changes and questions with patience and clear explanations. I would hire him again for future projects."

"Finding a contractor who is highly professional and competent these days make me feel like winning the lottery -- Spencer Contracting lived up to its very high standards and our expectations.  Our master bath needed a serious makeover.  Jason Spencer and Brian Barron came to evaluate the work, took measurements and pictures, listen to our requests and made suggestions.  They came back with a detailed bid, explained every line and answered our questions thoroughly.   <br /> The work started on schedule: bathroom gutted and tiles removed (not a small feat).  The shower was totally rebuilt and I marveled at the detailed perfectionism of the project.  It was one of these rare occasions when you could go to sleep peacefully without worrying about a problem occurring in the process.  Brian was checking every phase and detail.   The workers (every single one of them) were professional and courteous, cleaning up at the end of each day.   I admired the precision of David installing tiles and with everything else he did -- he is a true perfectionist to the millimeter (amazing).  We used quartz counter tops and the installers were as amazing in professionalism. The project was finished on schedule and we still enjoy the final product.   <br /> This was a dream process and we will hire them back for any other renovation project we might have later. <br />"

"Mark was very professional and friendly. He came from a long distance and called when he realized that traffic would have him running a little late; I appreciated that. He assessed the problem ( the circuit board was bad). He gave me the cost of replacement and some other recommendations and warnings to look out for as tell-tale signs of possible trouble. I asked about the ice and water dispenser. Although he was willing to fix them, he was honest enough to tell me that it was not cost effective (parts-wise ) to repair the other minor things we were concern about. He left to pick up the part, fixed the problem and we are back in business. <br />"

"I think I paid an hourly rate like $125 per hour. He came out pretty promptly and fixed the leak. The water was leaking, coming from the house underground. We had already dug it out and found out where it was, as opposed to having them come, hunt for it from the house to the street. We had already found the leak, but my husband was hesitant to repair it, saying "if I don't do it exactly right, we'll still have to call them anyway". So, I said, "just call them," So he came out, and within 15 to 20 minutes he was done because we already did all the harder work."

"I asked for a quote though this site. Louis Mechanical Contractors called the same day and listened while I explained the problem. They scheduled for next day. The guy called to let me know he's on way. He showed up on time and it took him an hour to find out what's wrong and fixed the problem. The only thing that bother me is the service bill is a bit pricey but worth it. A week later, I received a thank you card from them. That is definitely cool because no other business ever do that before. Awesome service! :)"
