However, after he and the guy the next day were finished we noticed that the power washer had splattered mud all over the grandkids play house and all their toys as well as in the outdoor kitchen. His work was good except for this major issue. We feel the job was too much for one person. "We hired Woody's Custom Landscaping, Inc. to install a stone wall with drainage, flagstone patio, screen lattice and gravel road for access to the west side of our property. They showed up on time each day of the project, cleaned up after themselves, stayed within our budget and were very responsive to our questions. They installed a 3-inch poly sleeve on each end of the wall for future projects like a water feature or lighting. Crew mates Darren and Chris built a beautiful custom lattice screen on site using just a vague idea from us and a photo of a similar design. We'll put in landscape plants later. This is the second time we've hired Woody's Custom Landscaping for a project, and we are very happy to recommend them to others. <br />"

"There was a tiny bit of confusion over the exact start date, but we were only a day off.  Once started, the whole project took two, full, days for the two men who did the work.  The workers were obviously pros at this process, but they were careful to ask our opinions concerning exact placements, angles, etc.  They were also a treat to work with:  very hard working but always ready to explain what was going on and why or how.  When finished, the completely cleaned the work area, replacing some landscape lighting that had needed to be moved, and finally blew away the last little bits of dust.  We were very pleased! <br />"

"It went...OK. For the money, we expected a lot more. In the end, we were left with paver dust all over our landscaping and garage door, some lights there were haphazardly installed and fell over in a strong wind, and about 15'x15' of our backyard grass destroyed. For the price we paid, this wasn't acceptable. They also told us when we were all done that we'd need to find an electrician to connect the transformer for the lights, and then they left. Overall, at the price point, we felt they left the job just good enough to walk away. Throughout the project we had to correct a number of things, from the step height onto the patio, to the quality of the cuts on the pavers they installed. It was nearly impossible to communicate with the crew they sent (no english speakers), and they seemed to sub-contract the work to a team with another company's name on their trucks. I think we ended up with well installed pavers, but the collateral damage and the process to get there weren't great. Especially at the price point. I would look elsewhere and get more competitive quotes on our next project (and we're going to do the front of the house next). I also would get them to commit to really *finishing* the job well. Don't leave paver/concrete dust all over the place. Don't leave my grass destroyed. Don't half-install the landscape lighting and then just bail. I paid you a lot of money to finish the job. Please finish it."
