"We had a very large driveway and patio that was incorrectly built from the original builder and was becoming a serious hazard due to the uneven surfaces and severe cracking of the concrete slabs. The Owner Lloyd and his wife came over to provide us a quote and suggest ways to achieve vision of what we wanted for the replacement of the concrete to last. We had a lot of great ideas, but Lloyd had to put all of them together, and educate us on what was the best way to accomplish our goals. He really knows how to do that too. We even did our home work to get a few quotes before, and L&L was by far the most professional and “realistic” of the other contractors. Their attention to details and honesty about some of the options that we though we wanted gave us an immediate comfort level with L&L since it was going to be a big and costly job. Lloyd has done this for many, many years and has the experience and the knowledge to do what a is right the first time. Thanks to Lloyd’s suggestions, know-how, we redesigned some things and it really made the finished product extremely functional and the design of it very good to look at too. L&L Concrete’s crew was also very skilled and worked like a well oiled machine. These guys are hard workers, polite, respectful and very clean regarding trash and other construction debris that can get out of hand quickly. Overall, I highly recommend L&L Concrete for any and all of your concrete needs. Their office manager Angel was a pleasure to deal with as well, and communicated with me daily to inform me of anything that needed my attention. "When we purchased our house several years ago, we knew we would have to install a patio as there was nothing in our backyard but grass. We found Jay with Advanced Curb Appeal at the Houston Home and Garden Show. His booth accurately displayed the type of pavers he would use to create our patio. After taking bids from 5 other companies, Jay's prices were very competitive and I decided that Advanced Curb Appeal would be the company to install our patio. Jay met with us to get an idea of what we were looking for and approximate cost to install. He made recommendations as to color and type of paver. Next, he showed us examples of the bricks and explained the process. Jay then worked with our HOA to receive approval for the install. Once the crew came out, they worked nonstop! Each paver was placed with care. They spent a lot of time making sure it was level and that any water would drain correctly. The results are stunning and I could not be happier. "Polo and his team provided excellent, high quality work! The job included pouring a concrete slab and construction of a 10' x 22' sunroom with 9' ceiling, installation of French doors, glass panels and windows, electrical lighting and ceiling fans, as well as putting in porcelain tile flooring and painting the exterior of the new room and added gutters and moved drain lines. The addition included a gable roof line that went into an existing gable roof with flawless results!
