Found SealPro on this site, and after reading some reviews and checking their site I called and asked a few follow up questions. Satisfied with the answers I retained SealPro. There price was competitive with what I previously paid, but I can't say if the price was high, low or just right since I didn't get other estimates. Had to wait a while for them to schedule me, and that happened only when I called to inquire as to when they might be coming. I was told that due to the amount of rain they were a bit backed up (reasonable answer) and they could actually schedule me in a couple of days. They showed up on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and the driveway looks as good as one could hope for given what sealing does. The few questions I had when they were on site were answered well, and I felt very comfortable with my choice. Just have to manage your expectations because there were a few imperfections and I actually consulted someone I know out of state who explained to me what causes those imperfections, in that sealing is not a resurfacing and imperfections that were there previously sometimes become more noticeable with a fresh application of sealant."

"Let me start out by acknowledging that I am not the easiest customer to please. I am very detail oriented, and as the owner of a small company myself, I have high expectations when dealing with another small company. Now that being said, I am proud to give NJ Garage Design (and specifically the owner, Kevin) an A+, 5-star rating all around! I first started looking into getting the floor of my 3-car garage done back in May 2016. I was initially surprised at the cost for such a project, so ended up dropping the idea at the time. Then in the spring of 2017 I decided to look back into it again. A friend of my epoxied his garage floor himself, and he said that he wasn't really pleased with the results, and if he had to do it all again, he would hire someone. I didn't really know anyone in my area that had gotten their garage floor done, so I decided to simply search online for reputable looking companies, and get quotes from them. I made appointments with several different companies, and narrowed my search down to 3. I quickly expanded the project into a full garage makeover (if I was going to do it.... I wanted to do it all), which would include cleaning up the walls and ceiling, and getting cabinets and slatwall installed. All 3 companies were somewhat similar in price (some a little more, some a little less), so I based my decision on the details of each offering, and more important, what it was like to deal with each company. I had a great first impression when I met Kevin. It was nice dealing directly with the owner of the company, as you could immediately tell that it wasn't just a job to him. He genuinely cared about earning my business. NJ Garage Design includes 5 layers on the floor (2 epoxy, 1 flakes/chips, 2 clear coat), whereas the other companies included only 3 or 4 layers. The tougher part of the project was the design of the cabinets and slatwall. I reviewed the proposed designs from each company, and while they were each willing to work with me to adjust their design based on my feedback, Kevin was the most responsive and easiest to work with. He always responded to feedback/questions by the end of each day, and turned around updated designs within 24-48 hours. Kevin also provided excellent guidance in coming up with the best design to meet my needs, while also being aesthetically pleasing. While Kevin's price wasn't the cheapest, it was very competitive, and I felt it was worth paying a little more to have them do the job. Kevin carefully explained the whole process to me, from the prep and coating of the floor (a 2-day job), to the assembly and installation of the cabinets and slatwall (a 1-2 day job). However, before kicking off his portion of the project, I wanted to get the walls and ceiling cleaned up. They were bare sheetrock, and the taped seams were in bad shape. I hired a drywall company to come in and prep the walls/ceiling (taping and spackling), and then had someone else come in to do the painting. Now Kevin was able to work his magic. His crew showed up as scheduled to prep and coat the floor, and they did an amazing job. I couldn't believe what a difference it made in how the garage looked. They did the floor on a Thu/Fri, and then came back on Mon/Tue to assemble and install the cabinets and slatwall. I also took the opportunity to replace the lightbulbs in the ceiling fixtures with 4' LED plug-in shop lights. What an amazing transformation! The garage used to be a dark and dirty place. Now it is a bright/clean space that I admire every time I walk thru. Kevin even installed some cool bike racks for me to hang up all my bicycles. Kudos to Kevin and his crew! We had friends over this past weekend, and everyone loved the way it looked. While I have read reviews where some people complain about the smell, I didn't really find that to be a problem. My friends even commented that my garage had that "new car smell". If you are interested in transforming your garage, then I highly recommend you go with NJ Garage Design!"

"I recently purchased a 2-family home that needed a lot of work, including tearing out really ugly carpet (some rooms were green and pink!) and laying laminate. Raul was fantastic. I provided him the flooring that I wanted and his team did a wonderful job of installing it within the timeframe that I was quoted from the beginning. I was able to give them access to the house without needing to be there, which I appreciate since I work for myself and don’t make money if I have to take off from work. The floors look even better than we were picturing, and we plan to hire him again when we’re finally ready to sand and stain the hardwood floors in the other unit. I definitely recommend him."

"<p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p>My garage floor was an eyesore, containing many minor pits, like tiny gouges in the un- painted raw concrete.  The walls, while finished were also unpainted.  </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>I received an ad in the mail for Magic Garage Cleaners and almost on a whim called the listed number on a Sunday afternoon.  To my surprise, David, one of the owners answered while out walking his dog and we discussed my situation.  He said a part of the solution could be to fill in the gouges with a self-leveling cement (which would add significantly to the cost) and then refinish the floor with a medium grey epoxy sprinkled with tiny silver and black chips to achieve a really nice look, and finally a clear coat of polyurethane to seal it for a permanent finish.  We arranged for him to inspect the garage.</p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>His first reaction was to note that the pitting was more widespread than he realized and in my mind I saw the price going up.  But then he said that the pitting, though a serious eyesore was not a structural problem and the re-cementing was not necessary. He said after they finished with their normal coatings as described above, the pitting would not stand out and the floor would look very good. So he turned down a higher priced option and provided a solution that was in the best interests of his customer ? me.</p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>Thus began the several day refinishing project which included removing everything from my garage and wrapping it all in waterproof tarps, cleaning the garage, steam cleaning the floor, painting the walls and ceiling, and applying their epoxy and polyurethane coatings and replacing everything just right.  During this process there were several times that I spoke to David and his partner Mike about possible concerns.  In every case they were well ahead of me, and had already planned an approach which negated my concerns.</p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p>It is hard to describe the reassurance and pleasure I felt in dealing with Magic Garage and their determination to do things really well to not only please their customers but to satisfy an internal need to know their work was the highly professional best.</p> <br /> <br />"

"The decision to hire Jimmy and his team at Hammer Head Group was a great one. Every facet of the job, from our initial consultation to the final clean up, was professional and easy. Jimmy helped us choose our wall colors and finish and he also sanded the floors and applied multiple stains and finishes so my wife and I could find just the colors we wanted.
