"The work was done professionally. They cleaned up after themselves. When I made suggestions and discussed problems due to the unique nature of my property line they were very accommodating.  I wasn't billed until I was 100% satisfied with the work. The fence looks great and we are very happy with their work. <br />"

"I could never be happier with the service and professionalism of this project. Snoopy and Dudley are so happy to be able to run around the yard. The price was a fraction of what it would have cost to put up a regular fence."

"<p>Salesman Marty was polite but a bit distracted.  I told him I wanted a 6 ft. gate, and he wrote it up as 3 ft.  When I went to give my deposit to the owner, Frank, I pointed this out and he changed it on the paperwork, but at installation time, he had forgotten and I asked again about the gate size.  Good thing I did.</p> <p>The type of fence I got was in stock so they were able to start installing within a week.  That seemed great.  About 2/3 of the poles got installed on a Tues., Frank said he wouldn't be there on Wed. due to another job.  I agreed with that, no problem.  He said he would be back on Thur. to finish installing the poles himself.  He showed up, dropped off some stuff and left in about 30 minutes, no poles installed.  I called late Friday morning, because I was told my job would be finished Friday afternoon and I was concerned because I thought the cement had to harden 24 hours  before you could put the fencing on.</p> <p>He didn't answer, so I called Marty, the salesman and told him of my concerns.  He said he would call Frank and find out what was going on.  He called me back, was rather agitated, said that I was expecting this job to be done too soon and that the poles had to sit a few days before you could put on the fence.  I said yes, I figured that but Frank never installed the rest of the poles like he said he was going to.  Then Frank called me back and he was very rude and short and said he told me he was coming back Friday afternoon.  When I tried to ask about the poles and why he didn't finish them the day before like he said, he yelled at me and said he was coming that afternoon and that he was busy.</p> <p>Several other workers showed up, put the other poles in .  Frank did also come and the fence did get put up.  I did ask him if it was ok that they strung the fence even though the cement in all the poles hadn't hardened yet.  He said it would be fine as long as the dog doesn't jump up against the fence.  </p> <p>In the end, the fence was completed as we agreed but I didn't appreciate the aggravation of being told one thing and then Frank not showing up when he said he would.  I just don't feel that Frank was very professional in how he talked to me and how the installation was handled.</p> <p>The fence does appear to look good and I am happy with it.  Since this the only fence I've ever had installed, I'm not sure if all fence installers work this way, but in hindsight, I would have rather have paid a little more money to save myself the aggravation of the sporadic way mine was installed.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Got three estimates for a ~350' vinyl privacy fence. Affordable Fence was by far the most reasonable estimate. We signed the proposal the end of May, and due to covid-19, installation didn't start until August. But since we already had a fence in place, that was OK. Once installation started, the crew showed up every day, on time, and worked full days. They also did a very good job of cleaning up after themselves, and keeping us informed of any issues. All in all, EXCELLENT. Highly recommend!"

"I just closed on my house and the backyard already had a partial fence; completely across the back and 1/2 way up one side.  Jim met me at my property to get the details and measurements.  I needed 2 gates and had some specific ideas about how I wanted them to function.  Jim understood exactly what I wanted and was straight-forward about setting expectations.  Unfortunately the weather wouldn't cooperate with the initial timeline, but I was kept informed about any changes in the schedule and any issues which may cause a deviation from what we discussed.  When one post was being installed, the underground electric was right at that location so a small adjustment was necessary.  Honestly, I may not have noticed the change for a while if Jim had not pointed it out to me, though he wanted to insure I knew about the modification and that I understood why it was necessary.  This is typical of how he conducted business; with a proactivity and forethought to any questions I may have had.  There was also a small follow-up once completed and that was decidedly swift and aesthetically well done.  Very professional and personable, it was a pleasant experience.  I cannot recommend Pickets & Posts highly enough. <br />"

"They cut me a deal when I had to install them because I had some better cabinets.  We found out that the cabinets I got were on sale at the factory.  After I had already paid and signed the paperwork, they called me and honestly told me I could get the cabinets for cheaper, and offered me the discount anyway.  Their quality of lumber is much better than at the big box stores, and with a lower cost as well.  After I had the end panels put in, one of them was scratched, and so they ordered me a new one.  It took a while for me to get it, maybe four or four and a half weeks.  One of the owners, Bruce, called me up and told me he considered that wait to be a bit excessive.  He offered to knock some off the price for me, and ended up giving me a 10% discount on material on the next project I did with him."

"Bill and team were great! We had an enormous retaining wall removed in two days. His quote was very reasonable. His team were hardworking and professional. I had quotes from 5 different companies and so glad I went with Wall King. I would highly recommend!"
