"Only thing they did themselves was the patio ceiling & French drain for my project. Acted as hiring contractor for all the other work. Overall project was a success, but I didn't appreciate how the lead crewman/ owner spoke to his employee. Subcontractors that were hired were excellent."

"Started out well. Job started earlier than originally planned which was fine. Paid a third down to start job with understanding that rest would be paid in full upon completion. Everything was going fine until near the end of the job. After shower fixtures were installed I noticed they were the wrong finish from what we agreed on for the estimate. Took a week for Joel to reorder & replace. When the frameless glass shower panel was going in, the installer realized it was the wrong size, and had to be redone. The grout on the stone shower floor was very sloppily applied. Bits of dried grit are stuck on the stones. Before job was finished Joel was asking for full payment as he was running tight of money. I insisted on paying him in full only when job was complete. He wasn't very happy. Overall, the tile shower walls & bathroom floor tile look great. I only wish there had been more attention paid to the other details."

"Let me start by saying, this ADU project was for my daughter, Macy. Macy has I/DD and Autism and will likely not be able to live away from us, her parents, unless she is in assisted living of some sort. When it came time to find a contractor, I joined the cadre of friends who had contacted many contractors with no return calls. Ron of R3J Residential Services was one who did. Working with R3J Residential Services was a stellar experience. Ron had suggestions when I was hesitant about what to do next, but always deferred to my wishes. His business practices are very transparent. I always knew what the next step was, and when it was going to happened. I found his prices reasonable, and so did my insurance company. He occasionally offered cost-cutting suggestions when he knew I had a tight budget, but he never "cut corners" or did less than quality work. I appreciated the care that his subcontractors used in my home. More important to me, I appreciate his ethics and I had no issues with him working in my home when I was not there. "We hired Steller Construction and Remodeling LLC to build a deck/Catio in May 2024. Micha (the Owner) was straightforward to work with and reach throughout the process. We are retired and live on a set income. Even though we had some lower estimates from other companies, we felt so confident with Micha's (the owner) ideas that, after looking at other reviews/images of this company, we decided to go with Steller Construction.
