"He had the right parts and tools, understood what needed to be done and did it efficiently and well. The job included creating a hole in our bedroom ceiling to accommodate the new ceiling outlet, pulling the wiring through the attic to the bedroom wall where the new switch would be installed, changing out the existing 2-gang switch box for a 3-gang box, neatly widening the hole in the existing dry-wall to accommodate the wider box, freeing up the super-tight original cabling to the 2-gang box to create enough play to fit them into the new, wider box, and probably a bunch of other work I can only guess at. He was careful before he cut into any of the plaster -- measuring at least three times to be sure. He cleaned up very well afterward. He'd estimated the job at $300 and stuck by it, even though I suspect the job took him longer than he'd originally planned, and then reduced it by 10% as an Angie's List discount. I needed to have the job scheduled within about a week after I called, and he cheerfully made it happen, with no extra charge for my narrow time-window. I'm very pleased with his work, the cost, the result and his flexibility. I'll be calling him in near future to do some other electrical work in my home, and I expect I'll be equally pleased with that experience."

"We needed some work done a few times over the last three years, and have had them add an outside outlet, basement one, and update our electrical with a new box, plus a line for our air conditioner. They were very timely and precise with their estimate. We have just had them back out for another estimate to have our entire basement redone with new lights and outlets to have this portion of our home redone. We also had them look into our garage and have some updated outlets added there as well. We will have them here to install those as well."

Watry LLC was a pleasure to work with. I purchased my house in late November 2014 knowing that the roof would need to be replaced. A few leaks showed up with this spring's snow melt. I called a few companies for estimates.  Scott Watry was very clear and straightforward when he came to do an estimate. No high-pressure sales tactics. Very clear about what materials were going to be used and about the warranty. Watry had the best price and the nearest available start date, so I went with them.

The initial estimate was that the roof would take one day. Due to unexpected structural oddities, the roof took a second day to complete. Scott Watry was very clear in communicating the reason why the project was taking longer than expected, and was clear in explaining that there would be an increase in the final cost. For the extra time and labor needed, the increased cost was very reasonable. The crew arrived on time each day and did excellent work. The flashings around all the valleys, the chimney, the plumbing vents and the skylight were all expertly done. Old, inefficient square vents were removed in favor of ridge venting along all ridges. The project was done in 40 degree weather, but the shingles laid down very quickly, which points to the quality of work the crew did. Scott Watry promised his crew would use six nails per shingle, which is exactly what they did. Along with the quality of workmanship, they were very thorough in their cleanup. I did not find any nails or bits of roofing material left behind after the first day or after the project was completed. The job involved the tearoff of two layers of very old shingles, along with flashings that were rusted through in many places. The fact that I could not find any mess left behind points to the care with which Watry Homes does their work.

All in all, I was very satisfied with Watry Homes LLC and would recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs to have a new roof installed.

They will never tell you you need something done just so they can get work. If anything needs to be done, they show you pictures of it and explain it in detail, and then they give detailed items in billing."

"Well, I had called him 3-4 weeks prior to original date of Saturday, June 16th (I closed on the house June 15).  I get a call on June 14th saying he needed to reschedule because he forgot he had to go to his class reunion on that week-end.  I was skeptical and not impressed but what was I supposed to do? I had a new date of Monday, June 18th.  I had people coming on Tuesday, June 19th to re-finish my hardwood floors.  So it put a little kink in my plans.  Overall he did a good job.  He had to come back on Tuesday morning and he was able to finish the 220V outlet just in time so the floor people could hook up to it to use it for their job.  He said it cost a little bit more than he thought because the materials were expensive to run all the conduit and wire he needed.  I expected it would be a little more because of the 2 xtra outlets I asked for in the basement.  Over all he did a good job and I will probably use him again.  Just changing the date, after all the planning I had did was the thing I disiked the most."

"I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. My neighbor was going to install my storm door for free but he ended up in a cast due to a work injury. So now I'm stuck. I contact Angi to get some Quotes. Jovon set up the appointment. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. Jovon and Jeremy gave me another appointment for the next day, They arrived at 10 AM and went out of their way to take me back to Menards to exchange the door. "Pleasant person, he seemed knowledgeable, but a price outrageous, for a small thing like get the electric to the laundry room, where the electric panel is right door.... $800, for our family budget is too much, especially we have so much work to do yet.... we found a licensed electrician for the same job asking $300, BIG DIFFERENCE !"

I had purchased the opener separately, but when Kevin arrived he told me I could have purchased a slightly better opener with installation from JD Griffiths for just about the same price and a better warranty. I was tempted, but kept the opener I had purchased due to time issues. (Kevin really DID NOT PRESSURE me at all.) If you're considering a new garage door opener, you might want to check ...
