"I would possibly use the division within their company for sprinkler turn on/off and maintenance. However, the division that helps with landscaping and design was difficult to work with and hard to have scheduled. The landscape design person was supposed to come to our house 3 different times, rescheduling each time except the last time he just never called back. I gave up on having the design person come help us plan. I felt we spent a good amount of money during the summer, but I felt like we were just 'small business' to them in the way they acted- not very professional.  I did like the employees who came to perform the services with our landscaping; very nice, professional, and easy to work with. Sadly we would most likely use a different company, this company seems to be good but its not worth my time dealing with the 'office' staff."

"We use him all summer and fall doing boat prep and storage. Repainting the sides of the house, concrete repair and tuck pointing brick walkway. He built stairs into my storage area in the garage to make it easier to step up. Also painted and repaired deck skirting. He puts away and organizes garage clutter, and sanded and varnished front door. <br />"

"Overall the deck turned out great, but we had some hiccups along the way. I'd highly recommend dealing with Dustin from the start for the sales process - we started with someone else and it was a maddening process at best, but Dustin had a lot of great ideas and was able to discuss all of our options making things easier. The installation guys were amazing - they came down from Petoskey and stayed in town until the job was done - a couple of the hardest working guys that I have seen and very detail oriented. At the end there were some plugs that needed to be put in where there were nail holes - the ones on the deck surface were taken care of quickly, but the ones on the outside of the deck lingered for a while and I had to make several calls to get it taken care of."

"The remarkable thing about Debby is her ability to take our comments about what we wanted to achieve and translate it into a set of drawings that required very little amendment.  Her vision of the land and her interpretation of what it could become while maintaining an overarching naturalness was a welcome plus.  No attempt was made to force the yard into an english garden formality but rather allowed the work to enhance the natural beauty of the land. <br /> <br /> The work was done on schedule and on time.  The additions she suggested, irrigation and a patio, were exactly what was needed and made the plan exceptional.   <br /> <br /> While the original work to put the plan into effect was considerably more expensive, the approximately $1,000 to do the spring cleanup was well worth the cost."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Bellaire, MI

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
