"SES went above and beyond what we anticipated. While replacing our kitchen cabinets, we hoped that they would be able to save our countertop and backsplash. They went out of their way to ensure that both were saved and that we were able to have the job done faster and below the estimate. Will alway refer SES to anyone looking for help."

"My heater did not work right. They came out and started diagnostic on the system. Turned out system was about 18 years old, some rusted chamber, coil pan was rotten out and so on. This was on a Saturday , and we decided to look at everything else. They showed me all broken parts. After talking and seeing what's going on, I decided to install a brand new system including all much needed duct work. This was Saturday at 9 am, at 10:30am Mr Mike had 3 crews out and start work. At 10:30pm, all was done. Date: 07/18/2016 Install an Attic or Whole House Fan Comment: Had complete system installed in March 2016, decided to install fans on roof a month later. Mr. Mike did a great job. Pleased with my electric bill due to fans and new system. Will hire again for projects. Date: 03/20/2017. Renovate or Repair a Home Comment: Bedroom Remodel. They painted 2 coats on ceiling and walls, installed crown molding and painted them, painted baseboards, moved up the outlet to plug in the TV, installed a new ceiling fan, installed a new door frame and door and also my fleur de lis decorative frames around the bedroom and bathroom door. RH & MS, LLC cleaned up after finished and put the room back the way it was before they started. All work was done in a day and a haft over the weekend. I am very pleased with the outcome. I will hire them to do more work."

"Ken and his team did an amazing job. He was extremely responsive and delivered on a very tight timeline. I was not in New Orleans at the time when the work was being completed and Ken kept me updated with pictures and text messages throughout the four days. The work performed included the removal of columns that supported the main carrying beam of the house and a column that supported a set of stairs. Ken and his team removed this columns and installed an LVL to support my second floor and re-supported the stairs all within 4 days! I enjoyed worked with Ken and would highly recommend him for your project."

"This is a very nice group of people to work with.  We had about 2300 square feet of interior house painted and the job took about 5 days to complete.  The quote was $5800 but we had to have some wall damage repaired from where ceiling fans were installed so the final price was $6250.  The crew arrived on time and finished in a speedy manner.  We did have some work that needed to be finished after the job was done and when I contacted the team it took about 3 weeks to get them back and finish some repairs, so they were pretty responsive.  I would recommend a final walk through after the paint has dried to make sure all touch ups are handled, but other than that I would recommend this group of painters for an affordable and fast job."

FAQs for baseboard installation projects in Belle Chasse, LA

Installing crown molding can be challenging, depending on the material and your skill level. Lightweight materials like polystyrene and softwoods are easier for homeowners to install themselves, offering a cost-saving option. However, heavier materials like hardwoods and plaster are difficult to work with and require professional installation to achieve a high-quality result. Precision is crucial in measuring, cutting, and fitting crown molding, so hiring a professional ensures the best outcome.

Crown molding is available at various price points, ranging from $1 to $30 per linear foot, depending on the material. This wide range offers options for every budget. Affordable materials like MDF, PVC, and polystyrene provide cost-effective solutions, while premium materials like exotic hardwoods or metal offer a luxurious appearance at a higher cost. Regardless of your budget, you can find crown molding that enhances your home's aesthetic.

Crown molding is installed by professional finish carpenters or painters who specialize in detailed trim work. These experts possess the necessary skills and tools to ensure precise measurements, accurate cuts, and seamless installation. By hiring a professional, you can achieve a flawless finish that enhances your home's aesthetic appeal without the risk of common DIY mistakes.

Crown molding can be installed in various areas of your house to add elegance and architectural interest. It is commonly used where walls meet the ceiling, but you can also place crown molding around doors, windows, mirrors, and atop cabinets. Installing crown molding in these locations enhances visual appeal, creates a cohesive design, and adds a touch of sophistication to your home's interior.

To determine how much crown molding to purchase, start by measuring the length of each wall where you plan to install crown molding and add the measurements together to determine the total linear feet required. Purchase an extra 10% of material to account for waste from cutting angles and to ensure seamless joints by using full-length pieces when possible. Including additional material helps avoid shortages and ensures a smooth installation process.

For a professional crown molding installer, this task takes about 1 to 3 hours per room, depending on size and complexity. Factors like the material, design intricacy, and number of corners can affect the time. If you're doing it yourself, expect it to take longer as you get the hang of measuring and cutting precise angles. Advanced measuring and planning or hiring a pro can help the project go smoothly.
