"Main roofing was great but attention to detail, craftsmanship, and correcting the problems were bad. #1 I pointed out past leakage problems prior to work. The area in question was a part of the roof sloping along the side of an addition. After installation I asked them to come back to check on it because the seam between the roofing and siding looked like it wasn't fastened tightly. They said it was ok. First big rain created a leak in our new kitchen ceiling wrecking the drywall over the cabinets. They redid 10+ layers of shingles, but no apology. #2 About a year later we heard some scratching on the roof. On investigation I found the trim on the dormer was cracked and a roofing nail sticking out with the head on the inside and nail point out. It appeared a hole was starting where the dormer met the roof deck. I stuffed a whole bag of steel wool into what appeared to be a hole. After the first 3 repair estimators supposedly came and didn't see the hole, the 4th one said there was a hole starting and I should contact Ridgetop for an estimate since it was a "siding" not "roofing" issue. Later Mike Rudie called to say they couldn't do the work because their repair crew couldn't work on steep roofs. Mike Rudie said it was just rotted wood but I have a before-photo showing no crack in the trim, so assume the roofers pried it off to put shingles under it and created the issue which they refused to fix. #3. The original roofers left a mess after the job. Tar paper was hanging from our lilacs, all the gutters were full of roofing waste. We had initially about 20 nails in our driveway causing a flat tire and at least 20 more nails washed down over the next year and more recently after a big wind a full belt of nails appeared in our driveway. I have photos of all of the above. [UPDATE 8/17/20 - Angie's List] Once the owner, Larry Gebhart got involved, I received an estimate to replace any rotten wood and wrap all exposed parts of the dormer in aluminum, thus resolving the issue with the hole."

"We hired Cain to do work in our basement in November 2024, in January, he informed us that they were not doing any work any longer and the money we gave him as a down payment would be returned in a few days, it is now April and we have not seen those funds returned. We have found out since that he has a history of taking money under one company name, then stopping after he has your money and opening a new company name. We will be filing a claim against Cain and his companies to recover the money he has taken. We have contacted him many times and not received any response from him. This is a buyer beware company. I would look for someone else before working with him again"
